UNIMEAUTOLINKSWELL Gen5 Android Radio for Mustang 2015-2020

This car stereo replacement has completely transformed the interior and functionality of my Mustang. The large display is a significant upgrade from the stock system making it much easier to navigate apps. I mainly use it for Apple CarPlay and it can seamlessly connect my phone for calls. The interface is responsive and the high resolution screen is sharp giving my dashboard a modern look. Installation was straightforward and the system integrates well with my car’s original controls.

Unit looks great, it is a factory fit and was fairly easy to install. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.There is a really bad echo on phone calls when using wireless CarPlay… the other person can hear themselves over a second later.The wireless CarPlay connection takes over two minutes to establish every time the car starts.The air conditioning does not remember if it was on, if the condenser was on or if the recirculating setting was on after shutting the car off and restarting for the next drive.Support is nonexistent. Calling in is pointless as phone support is only offered to resellers. Online chat support does not get answered so they provide an online form to send an email instead, and then don’t reply to the email.I’m going back to the original radio. The bigger screen is not worth over $1,000 when the rest of the experience has been this bad.

The screen on this radio is HUGE 12.1 inches of HD touchscreen entertainment! This looks so much better in my car than the stock radio and it has all the features you could think of. It was a breeze to take out old radio and install this one. I think it was worth every cent!
