These are good quality IDF clones. Other than setting the float levels and adjusting the accelerator pumps, these basically run perfectly right out of the box. I swapped two 40mm clones to the 48's on a 2109cc VW air-cooled engine and the power increase was surprisingly much more than the 40's, with no change in slow speed drive-ability and smoothness.

I bought 2 of these. 1 was perfect and the other had aluminum shavings obstructing the idle circuit. Once cleaned, both carbs took a tune, adjusted to a perfect idle, and held that tune. Runs as well as any Weber carbs in the past. What a deal.
