Essential tool if you have a pickleball machine or a bucket of balls for drilling.
I have tried pickup tubes, baskets and two different rotary pickup tools. This collector is the fastest and best. It is similar to the less-expensive Neewer brand collector, but the K-Court Kollectaball is larger and better. The K-Court holds just over 40 pickleballs, even though it is rated for 30. I have used the K-Court and Neewer side by side and the K-Court is the better unit. It can hold about 10 more balls per load.I took the folding stand off of my K-Court. This folding arm just adds weight and it gets in the way. I like the fact that the handle is bent at the top. This makes it easier and more comfortable to use. There is a fence hook at the end of the handle, that works perfectly. The fasteners are stainless steel, but they tend to loosen up with use. I had to apply locktite to avoid loosing screws. You will need to assemble this unit, but I had it done in about 10 min.

Kollectaball is awesome! with some minor room for improvement
This roller is fantastic. I use it for pickleball. It is way faster and easier than tubes. It fits about 40 pickleballs in one go (fewer if you’re collecting next to a fence or wall, as some balls will start spilling while collecting new ones—but this is easy to manage), and it is remarkable how well it will pick up balls from corners. It is easy to transport in my small SUV, and it should easily fit in any car’s backseat or trunk. The roller part can easily be separated from the handle, if needed for transport.A couple small drawbacks that could be improved: 1) it is fairly heavy; and 2) the emptying lever mechanism it comes with is fairly clunky. I find it easier to empty by simply pushing apart a couple of the wires by hand. Removing the lever slightly reduces the weight, which helps to address issue #1. One of the courts I play on has a chainlink fence with some frayed ends on the bottom and the roller sometimes gets tangled with them. It can be a bit tedious to untangle, but it is manageable. This is not a problem with the roller itself, though. Overall, none of the issues mentioned is a deal killer; I still find the Kollectaball is better than anything else out there.

VERY DIFFICULT to assemble
I had the prior orange version and it went together in about 30 minutes. However, they no longer sell the replacement wires for the older version, so I had to buy this one. After 2 hours, I had gotten 4 of the wires assembled...They pop out on one side as you are putting in the other side. If I have 2-4 people holding the wires in place, it would have been fine. But, being a sole assembler, it was not working for me.Keep in mind that I am very handy...I assemble and fix things around the house routinely. So, do not buy this if you don't have multiple people to help with the assembly.

Cool device; picks up pickleballs well; glad I bought it
I have used it three times. I own a pickleball machine. First, this device is an engineering marvel. I first noticed this when putting it together which takes 30-40 minutes. It picks up balls quickly. The mechanism for emptying the basket is good but you have to use the right angle and shake the unit a bit if the basket is full and there is a small learning curve. It’s faster and more fun than using a ball tube. Downsides: 1) I think it weighs about 6 pounds so it’s a little bulky to carry from car to courts but it’s not bad (I have other equipment to carry too); 2) I don’t want to risk damaging it so I have to push or pull balls away from fence when picking up balls. I’m happy I bought it.

Very nice with some suggestions.
This really speeds up my ball collection and helps with keeping my back from being sore.Even though it took a bit to put together, I actually enjoyed the process of doing so. It was quite fun. I had no problems in putting it together and felt Like I had achieved something afterward. My biggest suggestion would be to adapt it a little for portability. As it is now, the arm easily disconnects from the ball, which is great. However, the arm is in two pieces connected through a piece that requires a screw Requiring an Allen key. If instead of an Allen key, there were some way to use a clip or ball piece like at the bottom, this would make it much easier to take apart for transport.Currently I use a socket like device within Alan Key fit that I keep in my tennis bag and keep the arm pieces in my tennis bag. I then either carry the ball head or I attach it with a carabiner to the top of my backpack style bag.So really it’s just that one little part that could make a great bit of difference. The only other issue is something I’m totally OK with considering how much of a difference it makes on my back and the speed of picking up balls. that is the difficulty of getting balls out on occasion. Granted that is usually when the head is too full. So beware of filling the collector all the way. Fill it up to about 3/4 and then push the triangle part into the wires and shake away.

Followed instructions clearly!
I'm giving 3 star because i can't figure how to get an answer as to why the wires hit the center of the moon shaped mount. Ive tried everything I can think of including asking others for ideas.

A great upgrade from the previous version - easy to use and a big time saver!
Just got my new K-Court last Friday and tried it over the weekend. I’ve only used is a couple of days and absolutely love it! I had the original model and this is definitely an improvement. Simpler assembly with less parts to put together and it seems to be sturdier too. A must have for anyone with a ball machine or tennis instructor with a teaching cart as it makes the tedious task of picking up tennis balls actually fun. This gadget is super easy to use. You just roll it forward or backward and the balls go into the wire cage without any force. Saves a lot of time when picking up lots of balls. Picking up 50 tennis balls with this is several times faster than those plastic tubes or a hopper.Take note that this does not come assembled. It took me just over half an hour to put it together but it was pretty easy. All you need is the small Allen key that comes in the box.I wish this new model had the telescoping handle that was suggested by users of the first Kollectaball for easier transport but it still fits easily in my car. It is an amazing tool and works incredibly well.
