Very good quality V Mount Battery from Neewer made from very good materials and is built to last.Has six ports that can be used to connect devices so far I have only been using four of the ports USB-C, USB-A, D-Tap & DC (8V) and have been using it to charge iPad, DSLR, iPhone 14 Pro Max, Camera lights, LED lights, Remote Control Car batteries, drone batteries etc and this has managed them all, at times I have been charging two devices at the same time.The display is a little on the small size I would have liked it a little bigger but it is bright and clear the feature I like is you can see the voltage being used on each port when something is connected this is a very nice touch and also the battery remaining both in percentage and bars Neewer has clearly thought this through it is these attention to details that make this a great product.The V mount is lightweight and small it can just about fit in your pocket so perfect when travelling, Has a nice sleek look and feel.Overall I am very happy with the V mount battery and I would definitely recommend it.

Compatible with Canon Sony Nikon BMPCC 4K 6K Cinema Cameras, field monitor (NEEWER F500, and devices such as Atomos Ninja (do check) I must confess I only obtained this for its other function of being able to very quickly charge phones, laptops and tablets. And it does this well.The box wasn't as big as I was expecting, then the charging block itself was smaller again. The charger is a fairly solid, small brick-shaped block. The front of the charger has the power button which illuminates an Oled screen.The screen shows the charging block power level and also the number of volts each connection is producing.There are four connections - USB, USB-C, and both 8 and 12 volt female connections. All are hidden under rubber covers which protect them from dust/dirt. In fact the entire unit is quite sturdily made. It's like a mini generator for less power-hungry devices.The unit itself is charged through the USB-C port. I have so far used it to charge up a phone and a Playstation 5 controller and both charged fairly quickly.It is a bit heavier and unwieldly than usualPortable chargers but seems to charge fairly well. It seems perfect for if you are sitting in the garden and need a charger/power source but may be a bit bulky to throw in your pocket for a day out.All in all , pretty good though - certainly well- made but I probably would only buy for the camera compatability in truth as just using it as I do means you are probably not getting best value for money.

I was impressed by the compact yet sturdy design of this NEEWER Battery. Whether I need to charge my phone on the go or power my camera rig during a shoot, this delivers reliable power and fits easily in my bag for when I’m working on the go.It’s 6800mAh size is enough power to fast charge the average phone six times, or to run my video light constantly for 1.5 hours, or when used sensible can last for much longer by turning off when not in use. It can charge to full capacity in around 3 hours, which is pretty swift considering how much of a workhorse this battery is.Overall this NEEWER battery exceeded my expectations with its versatility, performance and solid build quality. Whether you're a filmmaker, photographer, or outdoor enthusiast, this battery is bound to become a hero piece in your kit.

Wow! This big, multi-functional, versatile, large-capacity V Mount battery performs incredibly well for practically every single one of my devices, and has dual-charging abilities! It works for a wide range of output requirements, from phones, smart watches, iPads/Tablets (via USB-A), to smaller USB-C devices and larger USB-C devices like laptops, to countless different media devices like cameras, lighting, etc.The versatility of this is unmatched, and the performance is just as excellent! It does take a while to fully charge itself, but not as long as I was expecting considering how much power it holds. Once it is fully charged it can last a very long time, depending of course on what it's charging, it lasted several charges on my phone, laptop, iPad, and camera so far.I''m not very privy to the specs that are displayed on the screen as of yet, but I am learning; the display is useful to see the remaining power on the battery and to see the output being given to the ports in use.Overall excellent, multifunctional battery that puts the typical "battery/power bank" to shame. It is quite heavy and not optimal if its only being used for smaller devices, but great to bring along camping, or other trips that you will be without a reliable power source.

First time trying a Neweer V mount battery. Overall the battery is great. Critical problem. The DTap socket is loose. I tried multiple Dtap cables, Charger etc . None of them fit snugly. Not sure if its limited to the piece i was sent or its the Neweer line. Have written to seller. Awaiting response3/20/2024: Seller send me a new battery which did not have the loose DTap socket issue and even offered me a partial refund. Very responsive/reliable seller

Hallo zusammen,freundlicherweise wurde mir diese V-Mount Akku der Marke Neewer im Rahmen des Amazon Vine-Programms kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt, wofür ich mich zunächst mal bei Amazon und natürlich auch beim Hersteller recht herzlich bedanken möchte.Das ich dieses Produkt kostenfrei erhalten habe, nimmt jedoch keinerlei Einfluss auf meine Bewertung!Ich bin nebenberuflich als Videograph tätig und demnach natürlich immer an solchen Upgrades interessiert. Ich muss gestehen, dass ich zuvor über solch einen Akku noch gar nicht richtig nachgedacht hatte, da mir bis vor kurzem auch die dafür notwendige V-Mount Halterung gefehlt hat. Doch jetzt, nachdem ich diese endlich sinnvoll in Kombination mit diesem V-Mount Akku nutzen kann, möchte ich dieses Setup nicht mehr missen!Dazu jetzt mehr…Zunächst mal muss man sagen, dass Neewer sich ja inzwischen im Bereich Videoequipment einen echten Namen gemacht hat. Dabei spielen sie nach meinem Empfinden schon längst nicht mehr nur in der Mittelklasse mit, sondern Vieles kann man m.E.n. auch im professionellen Bereich bedenkenlos einsetzen. Das hängt natürlich auch immer vom eigenen Anspruch ab und „wie“ professionell es sein muss, aber ich für meinen Teil, kann mit vielen Neewer Produkten sehr gut arbeiten und auch dieser Akku hat mich bis dato vollends überzeugt!Er ist grundsolide verarbeitet, zeugt von einer sehr guten Materialqualität und bietet dazu auch noch ein echt praktisches und hochwertiges OLED Display, auf welchem sich nicht nur der Akkustand des Akkus selbst ablesen lässt, sondern eben auch die jeweils ausgegebene Spannung pro verwendeten Anschluss sowie den Batteriestrom. Ein gutes Display nützt aber wenig, wenn es nicht hell genug und somit auch bspw. im Sonnenlicht gut ablesbar ist. Dank OLED-Technologie ist das hier aber absolut gegeben!Der Akku verfügt über insgesamt fünf Anschlussmöglichkeiten.USB-AUSB-C (wird auch zum Laden des Akkus verwendet)DC 8 Volt GleichstromDC 12 Volt Gleichstromund sogar ein D-Tap Anschluss ist hier vorhanden.Alle Anschlüsse können bei Nichtverwendung mit einer Silikonkappe staubgeschützt verschlossen werden.Mit einer Ladeleistung von 6800mAh ist er zwar kein Biest, aber dank intelligenten Batteriemanagementsystem (BMS) trotzdem für eine lange Stromversorgung von diversen Endgeräten geeignet!Das BMS schützt hier auch vor Überstrom, Überspannung, Übertemperatur und Unterentladung. Sollte eines davon eintreten, wird entsprechend gewarnt. Außerdem ist die Akkuhülle PC V0 feuerfest.Zusätzlich sind auch noch sämtliche Zertifikate am Start, wie auch das für uns so wichtige CE-Zertifikat.In der Praxis hat mich dieser Akku bis dato echt begeistert! Dank meiner V-Mount Halterung, kann ich den Akku sehr flexibel in mein Kamerasetup integrieren.In den meisten Fällen hatte ich bis jetzt immer den D-Tap Anschluss via Adapter für meinen Ninja V Fieldmonitor/-Recorder, den USB-C für meine Systemkamera und den DC 8 Volt für meinen Zoom H4n Pro Audiorecorder verwendet. Dieser schluckt zwar eigentlich nur 5 Volt, aber die hier beim Akku angegeben 8 Volt sind die Maximalspannung. Der Akku erkennt automatisch welche Spannung benötigt wird und gibt dann auch nur diese raus. Stichwort: BMS!Also das Teil macht schon echt Spaß! Ich besitze zwar ausreichend Akkus für meine Geräte, aber dank diesem V-Mount Akku bin ich so viel flexibler in meinem Setup geworden und kann nun drei Geräte gleichzeitig mit Strom versorgen. Insbesondere für meine Systemkamera ist das ein echtes Plus, da hier bei längeren Aufnahmesessions schon mal öfter der Akku getauscht werden muss. Und wenn man dann ein Setup hat, bei welchem man nicht so leicht an die Öffnung zum Akkutausch herankommt, dann ist solch ein Akku umso praktischer!Na klar, irgendwann ist auch der V-Mount Akku mal leer, aber bis jetzt habe ich ihn tatsächlich noch nicht leer bekommen während einer mehrstündigen Aufnahmesession.Sehr geil ist hier auch, dass der Akku für seine Größe echt schnell wieder geladen ist. Bei 65 Watt Schnellladung ist er in guten 3 Stunden wieder voll!Theoretisch kann man diesen Akku auch einfach nur als eine Art Powerbank verwenden. Parallelladungen via USB-A und USB-C sind möglich. Jedoch gäbe es hier natürlich auch wesentlich kostengünstigere Powerbank-Alternativen, die am Ende sogar mehr mAh bieten. Also ihn nur dafür zu kaufen, macht meiner Meinung nach wenig Sinn. Dafür ist er dann insgesamt auch etwas zu klobig und zu schwer. Deswegen würde ich ihn in erster Linie für den Einsatz in der Videographie oder natürlich auch Fotographie sehen. Eben überall dort, wo man auch die unterschiedlichen Anschlussmöglichkeiten benötigt und gezielt einsetzen kann.[Fazit]:Wie eingangs bereits erwähnt, bin ich mehr als zufrieden mit dem PS099E, wie er in der Modellbezeichnung exakt genannt wird.Grundsätzlich bietet er tatsächlich alles, was man sich von solch einem starken Akku für „insbesondere“ die Videographie wünschen kann. Dank V-Mount lässt er sich optimal ins Setup integrieren und dank der verschiedenen Anschlussmöglichkeiten auch vielseitig verwenden. Das auch im Sonnenlicht gut ablesbare OLED-Display, gibt im Einsatz immer Aufschluss über die verbleibende Akkukapazität und die ausgegebenen Spannungswerte.Material- und Verarbeitungsqualität sind 1A und das gesamte Ding macht auf mich einfach einen sehr, sehr guten Eindruck. Ich hatte damit bis jetzt viel Freude und kann ihn demnach auch besten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.Dennoch sind die dafür aktuell aufgerufenen knapp 200,00€ natürlich ein stolzer Preis und jeder muss für sich selbst entscheiden, ob es das einem Wert ist. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aber definitiv in Ordnung und sofern man diesen Akku auch seinen Fähigkeiten entsprechend verwendet, kann sich ein Kauf lohnen.Ich möchte diesen V-Mount Akku auf jeden Fall nicht mehr missen und deswegen gibt’s von mir auch die vollen 5 Sterne!Ich bedanke mich fürs Lesen 😊TK 😊

This is such a great battery for a cinema rig! Large capacity and a wide variety of ports. I only wish there was an additional DTap, but for what you get, its awesome!

The Neewer PS099E V-Mount Battery has a large 99Wh capacity with max load of about 200W/14.5A via the D-Tap connector. The PS099E is versatile with multiple output interfaces, including USB-C, USB-A, 12V and 8V barrel connector and V-Lock (or V-Mount) allowing it to work with broad number of photography and videography equipment, like professional video cameras, LED lighting, strobes, monitors, microphones and other compatible equipment. The USB-C port supports PD and can power more enthusiast equipment along with fast charging your phone, tablet or laptop with max output of 65W (20V-5A). The USB-A port also supports QC3.0 fast charging.The PS099E has a solid build quality and weighs in at 603g. It has a small but useful OLED display showing the remaining battery life and voltage output (and input if charging the battery) of each interface. Since the capacity is 99Wh, you should be able to bring battery onto flight but you will want to check with each airline for specific restrictions. For example, Air Canada allows you to bring power banks up to 100Wh, but for camera batteries, you are allowed to bring 2 batteries that don't exceed 160Wh, but require approval from airline first. I tested the PS099E with charging and powering various LED camera lights and it works great. Also tried the D-Tap connector to power an external monitor, using D-Tap to 12V barrel connector and it worked great.
