Lakanto Classic Monk Fruit Sweetener is a zero-calorie, keto-friendly sugar substitute made from monk fruit extract and allulose. It offers a 1:1 replacement for sugar, making it ideal for baking, cooking, and sweetening beverages without the calories or glycemic spikes associated with traditional sugar.

Great non artificial low to no calorie sugar alternative.
Granular just like table sugar, not quite as sweet as table sugar, no bitter or off tastes. I use it for my coffee, cereal, cooking and baking and it replaces table sugar 1 to 1. Like sugar it helps browning during cooking, maybe not quite as much but close enough. I used erythritol prior and prefer it as it tastes closest to sugar but with recent studies suggesting an increase in platelet aggregating possibly increasing risks of stroke or heart attack I avoid that as well as all sugar alcohols. Allulose and monk fruit extracts avoid any health risks, so far.

Closest Thing to Sugar I’ve Found Yet
I’ve been on the hunt for a low-calorie sweetener that doesn’t come with that well-known artificial aftertaste. Sucralose, erythritol, stevia, aspartame — I can't get behind them. This monk fruit + allulose blend is the first one that actually comes close to tasting like real sugar. At first, I was thrown off that the first ingredient was allulose, not monk fruit. But after digging a bit, it makes sense. Monk fruit is estimated to be 100-250x sweeter than sugar, so it’s usually blended with something like allulose to make it usable at a 1:1-ish ratio. Allulose is only about 70% as sweet as sugar and has minimal aftertaste, so the combo actually works really well. For daily use in coffee, tea, or oatmeal, this stuff is great. I’m not sure how it’ll hold up in baking, especially if you’re looking for that full sugar replacement in cookies, but it’s worth trying. If you’ve been burned by the usual sugar substitutes, this one might finally win you over.

Best Sugar Substitute!
No bitter aftertaste. No fizzing. Natural sweetener. As I'm a diabetic, this is one of the few substitute sweeteners I can use in place of white sugar. I even use it in baking and cooking, and I can't tell the difference. I would definitely recommend this product.

Clumpy
I received this yesterday. It was a very hard package. I thought, maybe it was just vacuum sealed, but it was mostly hard clumps, some as big as my fist. I had to spend about 10 minutes to break apart the clumps. I have been using the Lakanto with erythritol and this was supposed to be better. I did try it out and it doesn’t have that weird effect and taste a little more like sugar.

Fantastic for baking, diabetics, and keto diet
This sugar substitute is excellent for baking. You measure it identical to using sugar. It does not have an aftertaste in your baked goods. It is a good value for the money and works well.

Good tasting sugar substitute
Tastes better than many other sugar substitutes. It dissolves better than some other monk fruit powders I've used- but I still use a handheld milk frother to make sure all the product has dissolved completely. I would buy again.
