We’re vegetarian/vegan ultralight backpackers always looking for solid lunch/salty options that aren’t just snacky crao. This was a very welcome addition. It’s not exactly weight conscious but it’s close enough and theyre so good. I like a few hot sauce packets with them.

Surprisingly tasty. They’re gluten free and flavorful. Small enough to travel with and grab for a quick bite to eat during travel. Skip the hanger if you travel a lot and have celiacs and avoid the frustration of no GF food in airports…eat these and you’ll be happy!

I work as a mobile repair man, so I'm always on the hunt for shelf stable stuff I can leave in the car when I'm far from home. These leave very little in the bag when you squeeze em out, so no hands need to get dirty. That being said, if you are paying $3+ per, I think you'll feel ripped off. If you can find these for $2 or less per, you'll be happy with a cheap meal to tide you over to something more filling. Anything higher than $2 and you can probably just find a local lady selling tamales for cheaper. The flavors are all good, heat on rojo and verde are nice and light. Habanero is hit and miss, 2 were barely hotter than rojo, one was blistering, nose running hot.

I needed something to keep in my bag that was shelf stable and I was tired of eating granola bars. These are pretty tasty and not too spicy. I wouldn't make a meal of them, but they are a good snack.

These were NOT GOOD. I won’t go so far as to say they’re disgusting, but they’re not worth buying. The taste is not good. The texture sucks. The price is too high, but I did get them on sale. The ONLY thing positive I can think of is they’re shelf stable.

I love tamales. That said I find this product so convenient. Hot or cold. I would imagine that they are great for camping, hiking, and just a carry around for times you are stuck at work and can't get to the store. For some reason I can't give 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. It only goes to 4.! Go figure.?

Even though 85% of the ratings are 4 star and up, I had to give it a 3 star. It does not have a lot of filling, it does need to be heated, and eating it cold was a kind of slimy experience. But once I heated it up, it was edible but not wonderful. And also, I bought these to keep in my car because sometimes, as a diabetic, I have a sugar drop, and I need a quick pick me up, and I figured these would be good instead of going through a drive through or eating another candy bar. The carb amount is ok, but they have very little to no protein in them. So I'm gonna have to supplement them with a shake or a protein supplement. So that's why I gave them a 3. Might be good if I was out on a sled dog trip for 2 weeks, but that's not my life.
