I've had cats for 40 years... Sweeping up tracked litter everyday was a bother. We've had this litter mat for months now and I can say that - FINALLY! - here's a litter mat that actually prevents litter from being tracked all over the place. This one has eliminated that annoying issue by at least 98-99%.Rather than a trail of litter through the bathroom, out into and throughout the apartment after each kitty visit to the box... now I never see more than one or two "crumbs" of litter (clumping litter) on the bathroom floor in an entire 24 hour period. Oftentimes there's none at all. That's how truly effective this mat is.My cat doesn't mind how this one feels underfoot, either. With previous mats, she and previous cats would try to sort of jump over the mat as they exited the litter box, in order to step on them as little as possible. With this one, she actually stands on it, sits on it, even lays on it while visiting me in the bathroom, proving that she finds it perfectly comfortable.So, this mat really captures the litter from between her toes AND she finds it comfortable: I call that a win-win.Being able to simply pour the trapped litter back into the box is another clever convenience this mat offers. I definitely recommend it.
