The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: Book 2 in the classic children’s fantasy adventure series (The Chronicles of Narnia)

Read by our grand kids. They loved it. It’s a classic book and I’m sure their children will love it to in time…

Basically it’s the bible but with talking animals. Aslan the lion represents Jesus minus the sandals and David Blaine style street magic. I was captivated and couldn’t put the book down, although this may have been due to the Airfix accident I’d had the day before …bloody superglue! Anyway, loved the beavers, they were my favourite.

I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter and she loved it. She would sit reading it and was totally engrossed and really upset when Aslan was killed. Now my 5 year old grandson is reading it. It was my favourite book at primary school so I hoped they’d like it. I am taking them to the theatre to see the stage version soon. Highly recommend.

My granddaughter asked for this classic story and is really enjoying reading it.

My 9 year old loves this book. Her favourite character is Edmund. SUMMARY..IN HER WORDS: This book is about a very nasty witch who turns the whole of narnia into winter and never Christmas. But the 4 children who had to escape the air raids in London, save narnia with the help of a fantasy lion named Aslan, Lord of narnia.

I bought this for my grandson ,they were reading it at school and he wanted to read it quicker ,highly recommend we all love the film too

Perfect!!!!

This is the first book in the series. The number on the spine says “2”, but it is the first Narnia Book that C.S. Lewis wrote. You could read them in Chronological order, but this was the original and best starting point. Book is a decent quality paperback.
