So far so good
A couple of months in, this chromebook charger is working well. It has a very well made type C connector and generally sturdy construction. And it charges my Acer 317 very quickly. This is my third charger from verious makers so I'm hoping this one is a charm.

warramty ran out 1-day & product now will not charge computer & cannot return for exchange
I ordered July, 2024 & warranty ran out for exchange August 30 2024. The metal peace that plugs into the computer broke off & cannot return for exchange. Not a happy customer. This is the 3rd charger & all had the same issue. Just wasting money by ordering another. I wish they would just exchange this one.

Perfect fit from Acer 311 Chromebook
My daughter’s cord stopped working after 4 years and needed a replacement right away. It fit perfectly and got it in no time.

They all dont last
the first cord lasted 6 months. The second cord lasted 1 month. The connection to laptop always comes apart. I left the second cord plugged in all the time and still fell apart. Amazon is STILL selling crap

Good
This charger is plenty long and looks just like the school charger it's replacing. The only difference is that this one works and theirs is now broken, I thinking about taking the school tag and putting it on this one instead, it's way cheaper to go through Amazon then to go through the school.

De-charger
My laptop has a few years on it, but the charger/power cord still works with it. What I don't like is that the end of the cord that fits into the laptop does not have a defined-enough shape. It fits in right-side-up as well as up-side-down. It took a while to figure out why the laptop was losing power though it was plugged into an electrical source. If the cord is not in the 'right-side-up' position...there is no power coming into the device. Designers could do a little better, in my opinion.
