I am writing this review after using 2 Razer keyboards Blackwidow V3 and V4X. I have recently upgraded to this V4X as my old V3's few buttons suddenly stopped working completely after 14 months of usage. That keyboard's roller wheel stopped working within 1 month but I have ignored it since it is not a big issue for me. Now when i have purchased this new V4X in June 2025 and writing this review on Aug 20205. Few keys of V4X stopped working and the since the product is within warranty, I have tried to claim it, but man it is a hassle. The warranty provide company Acro RMA does not respond to call, they have most of their numbers switched off and I saw that they have very bad reputation of delaying the claims for months. Just dont buy Razer in India specially. Go for Corsair and steel-series in same price but far superior quality.

good keyboard and compact. battery life is really good when dimming the lights to around 20%. but like almost every razer product breaks in a year. keys started typing twice which is a known issue with this keyboard, even razer advises to return it under warranty

It starts acting funny and becomes unusable after a couple of months. Would not recommend this one to my worst enemy.

I really wanted to like this keyboard, but this is now the second unit I’ve had to return for the same problem. After a few weeks of normal gaming use, the W key starts failing when pressed off-center. When pressed in the middle it works, but if my finger is slightly to the left or right, the key stops registering or intermittently cuts out. This is a classic sign of a switch leaf failure — the internal metal contact becomes weak and doesn’t actuate unless pushed perfectly straight down. For a gaming keyboard, especially where WASD sees the most use, that’s a deal-breaker. Tested without the keycap as well, so it’s definitely the switch hardware, not debris or stabilizers. Great features otherwise, but reliability is a major concern. Had to return again and will be switching to another brand.

Overall solid 65% form factor keyboard for those who prefer compact sizes without loosing the arrow keys. Compared to other Razer products the RGB is a little dimmer but it can also be a positive as it doesn't distract your attention while gaming with custom RGB setups that move around a bunch. After a year however, I've found my CTRL key has started to sometimes not function properly despite being a key I do not use. Still a good keyboard nonetheless with other additional points of interest such as it being wireless and having the ability to control your mouse and keyboard with one dongle with select mouses.
