Dalesman Tenacious Sealing & Repair Tape

I bought this to repair a friend's jacket. It is easy to apply, it does keep out the water, but if you are hoping for an invisible mend, then that isn't what you get. Maybe I was naive to expect such a thing, so I won't knock the product for my over-expectation. The jacket in question had a matt finish, and basically it looks as if there is a piece of clear tape stuck on the sleeve. Yes, the jacket is now usable, and the mend doesn't show from a distance, but in an ideal situation I would have liked the tape to have a finish that was more matt to blend in better.

Easy to use, sticks great and doesn't leak. I repaired some minor pin holes and areas up to about 5mm across with this tape and it did a marvellous job. When cutting the tape I rounded off the edges to prevent lifting. It was easy to apply and I applied to both sides of the hole on the inside and outside just to make sure there was and effective seal. Fortunately the UK weather tested my repairs and I am pleased to say they were very successful! The handy packaging case works too and would be great slung in the bottom of a rucksack if you were going off into the wilds!If you have a hole in your tent and no one else can help then maybe you should buy some Dalesman Tenacious Sealing and Repair tape, it does not disappoint.

I used this to repair a jacket I'd gone through the sleeve of.It was easy to cut and the backing easy to start removal of. This was a good thing as this tape is very sticky. Take your time and make sure you are happy, as once it's down, its down.You don't get much and the strip is only 50 mm wide, but it is holding the jacket together really well even after some serious rain and more ware and tare.

This seals any tears and abrasions permanently, but be careful as it is VERY STICKY! - as in the hot water that is marked VERY HOT. It is more noticable on lighter colours and best suited to dark; but if you are after practicality rather than looks - or are tight like me - this is an excellent buy.

We had a deluge whilst camping in France and this tape was applied to a couple of patches and seems to work. Simple and easy to apply. Will definitely use again and keep it handy!

This tape is perfect for the task of sealing a torn canvas - in our case a Gazebo roof.It also did good service as a nail bandage !!

This has been ideal for my rescued Jack Russell - once mastered putting on and off while she wriggled I can reccomend it
