Excellent for shaping trimming box shrubs and small leaf shrubs as it can be used at all angles even upside down with no loss of control but woofull on larger leaf shrubs but ideal for dead heading flower or weed heads etc to prevent re seeding providing stems not to woody that is - its small size makes handling a doddle and having collection bag which collects about 90% of cuttings makes clearing up afterwards far easier I only award 3* due to its limited use If blade size had been 50% larger it would have been more versatile One major drawback is the unavailability of replacement blades as yet I have been unable to locate any

I found it is no good for any shrubs that are twiggy unable to trim a small Yew bush as the head clogs up, only thing I found good was trimming heathers and nice to not have to sweep up afterwards.
