Sturdy and impressive!
Bought the full over queen. Love the look and they are very sturdy! The queen has space on one side for a small side table within the legs of the upper bunk. I wasn’t sure what height to buy for mattesses. The top bunk got a 6” and that came to the top of the bottom rung- plenty of “fencing “ left to keep a child from rolling out of bed. I got a 10” for the bottom queen and there seems to still be plenty of head room for sitting up in bed. Assembly wasn’t as difficult as the last bunks we bought - having the top free standing really helped. Love this look!

Sturdy
We love our bed. We have had it about a year now and it’s a pain in the ass to set up but it’s lasted in our kids room. Would recommend

Needs a crossbeam…
Across the bottom to connect the front posts of the top bunk. Also slat supports not as study as we’d like. Works for 12 yo girl!Update. She can’t sleep in top it is too wobbly. We have to find a way stabilize it from swaying. Thinking X braces along the back. Already connected a 2x4 on bottom of top bunk “legs”

Problems on top of problems
This bed is a good looking bed and gets the job done. That being said, there are some real issues, especially for the price point. The assembly was a huge pain that took forever. Once the assembly was finished, it also feels wobbly even when everything is tightened up, which is unfortunate, especially for the price. It's also a very creaky bed, and makes no end of noise. The design of the bed could be improved as well, it's large and cumbersome, causing no end of stubbed toes, and sore shins.

Great bunks. Went together fairly easy!
Great bunks! My husband and I put this together by ourselves with great result! The only complaint we had were the multiple slats we had to “connect” at the same time. The designer could have just put all the slats together and made it one piece instead of 11 different pieces that you had to connect at the same time. This step was very time consuming. Otherwise the rest of the bunks went together fine!

Do not buy
I bought the full over queen frame and was expecting both the full and queen frame however I only received the full frame part. Extremely disappointed
