I bought this food coloring set specifically for woodland-themed cookies, and overall I’m happy with it. One of the main reasons I chose this set is that the dyes are gluten-free, which was important to me. The colors come in a nice box and there’s a good variety to choose from. I only needed to use a very small amount — I added a drop, waited a few minutes to let the color develop, and then added another drop if needed. The colors really brighten up nicely if you give them a little time. I did have a small issue with the purple dye where the nozzle wasn’t snapped in tightly enough and popped out, which caused a little dye to spill. I snapped it back in and it worked fine after that. I wasn’t able to get a true deep red using buttercream frosting, which is not the fault of the dye. Buttercream has a yellow base, and getting a true red usually requires a whiter frosting base or a different type of icing. For the colors I used, the dyes still performed very well. Overall, the dyes worked as expected and gave me the vibrant colors I wanted for decorating. As you can see in the photos, the colors came out nicely and looked great on the cookies. I’m happy with this set and think it’s a good collection for anyone looking for multiple color options for baking and decorating.

Ordered to use on homemade cookies, easy to mix, nicely packaged in a small flat box, which made easily to store away. Color came out nice and bright. Just follow the directions on the box, you will be good.

These are actually pretty great for the price, I love there is so many colors to choose from and 2 to 3 drops. It’s really all you need. I am only given this four stars because when I received this product, it look like all the bottles were just shoved into a tiny box. There was no organization in the least bit., some bottles were upside down, definitely looked like it was a previous return. Also, the bottle are TINY.

I like these they have a lot of different colors to pick from for your frosting or even for your Easter eggs I will buy these again

Colors are not true. Christmas red is pink unless you want to use the whole bottle. And it is so hard to get the colors out. You really have to squeeze the bottles hard! Would love for the darker colors to actually come out dark with out wasting so much of the bottle for one recipe.

There are a lot of nice colors to choose from. The bottles are small, but you are only using a few drops at a time so I feel like they will last long enough. I was able to get some good coloring by using a few extra drops in my frosting.
