Luber-finer Luberfiner WHG481FK Oil Filter Kit Adaptor Kit to convert Workhorse Trucks to use fuel filter G482

I bought this fuel filter for my 2005 W20 workhorse chassis motorhome. It's reasonably priced and includes the adapter that is necessary since the original fuel filters are no longer made. This fuel filter has the correct threads and is a direct replacement (when used with the adapter on the outgoing end of the filter) for the original fuel filter. The adapter comes with an O ring preinstalled to mate with the filter. After seeing the quality, I bought a second to carry as a spare.

this thing is a lifesaver for being able to replace the fuel filter on the GM Workhorse RV chassis, as the one piece originals are very hard to find. with this unit you can use the filter provided, but also use the "T" fitting to allow the use of other brand fuel filters as well. the only complaint I have is that it is a bit longer than the original , so you have to push the lines back a bit to be able to mount them up, but not a big deal at all.

Installed it today. Went well. The only issue I had was the top outlet of the adapter (the fuel line that goes up) doesn’t line up exactly with the OEM filter. It is a little farther away from the filter. Maybe 1/4”. I was able to push the fuel lines enough to get it to work, so it wasn’t that big of a deal in the end.
