They were compatible with my medela pump no problem. The one piece aspect wasn't bad. This is my fourth child I'm nursing and pumping so I'm not new, went 18months with the first three. I ordered these as they were much cheaper then medela and I was having to rebuy everything after giving it all away thinking we were done having baby's. Anyways. First use and milk goes in the tube, happens occasionally but after the third time with the same shield, something is wrong with that one. I notice that sometimes I pump and feel great and get a lot of milk, other times I'm struggling and on the machine longer and I'm not as empty still. The tube that pulls the nipple in is much shorter and my nipple goes too far and I get a poor pump. My medela and these other off brand, nenesupply, are longer and don't pull my nipple all the way to the back so I get a good pump and empty nicely. I'm a larger bust with a nipple about as big around as my thumb, so maybe only a busty girl problem? I dunno. But other then that issue the suction was nice and strong, easy to clean yadda yadda good stuff to say. Just for me if I can't get a good empty when I pump I start to get sore and my breasts harden and get tender and I'll get cloggs so these don't work for me.

I am a little torn on the review. I have a 6 week old baby that I am exclusively breast pumping. During the middle of the night in one of my pumping sessions, I decided to purchase new flanges that are larger than the ones that came with my medela pump. I should have looked more closely at what I was buying, but again it was the middle of the night and this momma is exhausted. When they showed up at the door, I was expecting Medela flanges, or at least flanged that were identical to the ones Medela makes. These are not... It is all one piece that cannot be taken apart for cleaning. Also, the dual openings on the end on my Medela flanges, are meant so that they flanges can also be used with a hand pump. The opening on this one for the hand pump hookup is for looks only, there isn't a thread to connect it. Not sure why you would bother to have the second opening, if it is non functional, other than to trick people into thinking it is the same, if not actually the Medela product. Having that said, I actually like these because a) it is all one piece and easier to grab in the middle of the night when you are exhausted and b) the flanges are quite as enormous as the Medela ones, when buying the larger flanges. The downside to these is cleaning -- since you can't take it apart, it is harder to get at the innards for cleaning. So I am torn about the product, but it is my fault -- I should have watched more closely what I was buying, in my middle of the night sleepy haze.

Five starts because it came in great shape. But I didn’t get to use it because of a few challenges Well it came sealed and looks new. my areola is still being blocked off so I probably need to get a larger size. Feeling helpless honestly. There’re two holes in it. I literally had to block them off with my fingers to fed the suction but I honestly think that I bought the wrong one cause I have an electronic pump. If someone can assist me that will be great. I’m the photos I’ll show you what I ordered and the type I have. Please not that the actual pump set is mine and I didn’t purchase it on amazon Originally my pump set came with the medium piece but as I said it didn’t fit me Please help

I bought these because I needed extra parts for my Medela Pump in Style breastpump. PROS: *Price *Compatible with the Pump in Style Advance *Lots of extra parts/pieces CONS: *Slightly thinner plastic (particularly the yellow valves), may be issue with durability. I have had these parts for 2 months and have been using them very often. I have washed them after every use and sterilized them before the first use. So far, so good! The items are exact matches for the Medela versions but at a much cheaper price. The only thing that may be an issue is the thinness of the yellow valves. However, I think the plastic is still thick enough to work and also it has held up well over the constant use. I highly recommend these products and have bought several more versions of the Maymom kits as spare parts so I'm not constantly washing or looking for parts. Definitely buy if you pump a lot!!
