A good price for a necessity. We use two a year to keep our air fresh and our air conditioning working properly. 3 dogs and 2 cats!

If this filter fits your HVAC equipment, it's a solid option at a good price point.My filters get changed every 6 months due to living in a large unsealed home with pets. The A/C guys would sell me one with their regular service for almost twice this price. Instead, they just put these in when they come and all is well. They tell me that these appear to be about the same quality as whatever they'd be putting in.

I had the AprilAire system installed years ago, then modified it for these filters. They work really well and are easy to install. With 3 pets in the house, they last about 6 mos.

My new furnace takes these. If I bought from the installer it would be almost twice as much. They work well and don't take up much space when storing them.

Shipped via Federal Express, who left it in my driveway in the rain. Other than the delivery, the filter is a perfect fit for our air cleaner and comes at a better price than any local retail store. It's real Aprilaire, so it is going to fit and function well.

Recently renting my first house.Also a beginner and learning a lot. Learned a lot from my furnace/thermo guy about this powerful thing. Due to it being so big you don't have to change it every 3 months like other filters I have changed. It's very simple to install and when we took out the old one we knew it was doing its job due to it being So oooo dirty. We think the last people never changed it.

Bottomline up front: A direct fit OEM replacement filter that gets the job doneI've gone through a couple of these now, changing out the filter every 6 months. They're OEM and easy to swap out. They seem to do a really good job of filtering out air contaminants, as the filters are pretty covered when I swap them. They are a bit pricey compared to the panel style ones, but you don't change these out as often, so the costs probably equal out.
