I didnt want to spend too much on Fujinon Lens but this one works for now, It’s beautiful! It’s AF is really fast and responsive, better than the kit lens in my opinion. For the price, it’s very much worth it.

I am blown away by the quality of this lens. It is solidly built, came nicely packaged, and has great optics. The autofocus is fast, quiet, and effective, and the color rendering is right on. It's worth every penny of the asking price, for sure!Update: It keeps getting better. This lens is going to spend a lot of time on my X-T2.

This Viltrox is premium! The photos it captures are crisp and bright and just as clean as the XF version by Fuji. Extreme pixel peepers may notice microscopic differences in sharpness, etc. but to the naked eye this is an amazing value. Nice metal body makes it a bit heavy, but gives it that durable premium feel.

I have tried a number of third-party prime lenses for my Fujifilm XT4 through rentals and found this lens to be the right combination of quality optics and price--it pairs well with my system and offers sharp focal points, with little discernible autofocus lag. When you compare this to the Fuji branded lenses that cost three times the price, it's a great substitute.

The 56mm F1.4 is the second lens I purchased from Viltrox for my Fuji X-mount camera and like the 85mm F1.8 it has exceeded expectations. Now I am not a professional photographer, or a pixel peeper, but I have worked in the arts as an illustrator for over twenty-five years. This lens gives me all the qualities I am seeking in telling an interesting story with my images, good color accuracy, decent sharpness, and nice bokeh. It performs well when autofocusing too. I could not ask for more from a lens for the price.

Great autofocus, solid build, beautiful picture quality. There is a little bit of chromatic aberration up close at high-contrast areas but it doesn’t seem to be an issue without zooming in to your photo.I have not tried the Fuji 56mm but this one is 1/3 the price and certainly good enough for me.

Even though i have updated my fuji xs-20 and this lense to the newest version the autofocus is quite bad unfortunately. You will miss a lot of your shots.

I absolutely love this lens. And being less than half the cost of the Fujinon equivalent, it has amazing price to performance. The AF is snappy and quiet, the 1.4 gives stunning Bokeh, and the all metal build at this price point is the cherry on top.I do want to note that I compared my version to an identical one my friend has, and mine was a little harder to twist on vs his. Otherwise no difference in performance.One of the nitpicks I saw on other reviews was the stepless aperture ring. After having used it, I found the aperture ring actually has enough resistance in that I never accidentally moved it off of my setting. So no worries there, imoIf you’re in the market for a lens of this focal length, I’d say it’s a no brainer. Plus it’s actually quite versatile and can do more than just portrait.

Soy usuario de Fujifilm desde hace algunos años y es la primera vez que me animo a comprar Viltrox, aunque ya habia leido y escuchado buenos comentarios de este lente, al final me animé a comprarlo y mi sorpresa ha sido mas que grande. La calidad es indudablemente notable, es pesado, pero si estas acostumbrado a lentes como 16-55 2.8 o a zooms grandes, no será ningún problema, si acostumbras usar lentes como el 23 f/2 o el35 o 50 f/2, si notarás la diferencia de tamaño y peso de inmediato.La construcción se siente y se ve bien, nada del otro mundo, pero se siente bien hecho, aunque no creo que sea sellado (para el uso que le doy es algo que no me importa por lo que nunca lo investigué).La calidad de imagen es indudablemente buena, incluso si disparamos a f/1.2 la calidad es realmente notable y pese a la poca profundidad de campo que tenemos, hay un punto de nitidez muy muy bueno en el área enfocada.Sin duda un lente retratero de buena calidad a un precio que ninguna marca compite siendo un f/1.2 con AF Automático.

Me ha parecido un objetivo magnifico, tanto por la calidad de imagen, la ausencia de aberraciones cromáticas y el enfoque super-rápido.La única pega es el peso en relación con los otros objetivos Fujinon XF que tengo. Pero supongo que si quieres una apertura de 1,2 un cuerpo resistente a la intemperie construido en metal, el peso es prácticamente inevitable.
