This sleeve is going to keep me from having knee problems in the future
I purchased this product for my work. I'm a facer in a grocery store. The floors are concrete, and I have to get on my knees a lot. I needed knee pads that protected my knees from the terrible scrapes that got worse and worse every shift. I also needed something discreet that I could wear underneath my jeans. After reading some reviews on this sleeve, I decided to buy one for my right knee (My dominant one)The following are my experiences with this sleeve over its lifetime.Day one (first shift with the sleeve):My first impressions aren't too great. It took me a while to figure out how to make it fit right. The sleeve gets really hot and I was sweating a ton after only 10 minutes of wearing it. The gel insert was really comfortable on my knee at first and I didn't feel the hard concrete on my knee, but after a few hours my knee started to hurt just as bad as if I wasn't wearing them at all. I think it was a combination of the heat, and my knee rubbing against the fabric. I had also been adjusting it constantly throughout the night to try and figure out the best way to make it fit, so the sleeve may have been too high on my leg.I was very relieved to take the sleeve off after work. My knee felt like it could finally breath again. I noticed that the scrape on my knee had healed a significant amount. My knee hadn't made any improvements in healing for 3 weeks, so I was very surprised and impressed. I thought a little bit more about the problems with the sleeve, and concluded that my weight is probably the problem. I'm 5'9 and weigh 215 lbs. I bought XL. I thought that the sleeve could be too tight because my leg is too fat, which explains why I couldn't figure out how to make it fit properly. I thought I was still feeling pain in my knee because my weight was too much for the gel insert to protect. I never thought about the fact that my weight could be as much of a problem as the hard floors at my work. I had planned to get into the gym soon, so hopefully after I slim down a bit some of these problems will be resolved. I just hope my knees can last that long. I also assumed that the sleeve needs some time to be broken in. I'm going to keep using this sleeve and see what happens. Will keep this review updated as my opinions change.Week 2:I definitely didn't have the knee pad on right the first night. I kept trying to pull it up over my knee, but that isn't how it's supposed to be. I'm starting to like this sleeve more and more. I think it definitely needed some time to be broken in. It doesn't feel nearly as tight as the first night I wore it, and it stays in place really well. It still gets really hot, but when I don't focus on the heat I don't sweat as much. I've gotten a couple minor rug burns on my knee, but it goes away after I sleep, so it really isn't that bad. I'm still not sure if I'll buy one for my left knee or not, since I seem to be okay with just using my dominant knee. The scrapes on my knee that were there for a month are now completely gone, so the sleeve definitely did its job. There are a few problems with the sleeve, such as the heat and minor rug burns, but I don't think it's enough to dock it any stars. I'm upping my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. This sleeve is going to keep me from having knee problems in the future, and overall I'm really happy with it!

No more hurting knees
I was looking for a pair of knee pads I could wear to work, because I’m always having to get in on my knees on a concrete floor. I didn’t want bulky, but I needed good protection. I looked at many knee pads and settled on these, because they looked discrete and the pads were made of a gel/rubber not a foam pad that would break down over time. The price was higher than I liked because I had to buy 2. However, after wearing them to work under my straight leg jeans, the floor no longer hurts me. If you’re in retail and have to crawl around on the floor, these are wonderful! They are made well. However, I do sweat under them, but I’m okay with that, because the floor can’t hurt me anymore!I followed the sizing instructions and found my size. They fit well and stay in place all day. At the end of 8.5 hours, there are red marks on my legs, but it goes away. I’m okay with that. I will continue to wear them to work. They make my life less painful! If they make a different kind of knee pad that is made of stretch fabric instead of neoprene, I would buy those too. Keep the same padding in the knee! They are great!Would buy again!

These are excellent for hiking and provides great padding
I bought this specifically for hiking since I use my knees a lot specially when trying to pension when I’m trying to climb. They are very sturdy and the material seems to be well-made. So far It holds really well when I’m using it for climbing. It does fit a bit tighter so I would go up on the size. Otherwise excellent value for the money I like using them since they don’t fall off a lot and they don’t have to adjust them and the padding is very well-made and provide enough comfort

Good for Volleyball
I like the neoprene because it keeps the knee warm. The padding is pretty good too, but it should be a little bigger top to bottom. I couldn't find anything with a bigger pad. The pad does a nice job on wood volleyball courts, it lasts about 1-2 years before it needs to be replaced (this is my 3rd set). The padding also doesn't tear as easily as wrestling knee pads, it tends to slide on the floor more which is much better because it doesn't slide off the knee when you dive for a ball. If you want neoprene and padding, this is the best knee pad available.

Comfortable fit/Protective to knees
Comfortable fitting knee pad with supportive gel insert to protect knees. Returned due to the size. Large was too big even though I measured.

Support
I have been using a McDavid knee sleeve for quite a long time that I love and wanted to get a few new ones to change off. I had ordered 2 so I am keeping one. I do have very thin thighs so this sleeve doesn't work great for me. It fits fine on the bottom portion under my knee, but the top slides down a bit when I walk.

Perfect for Wrestling!
I wish I would have brought these years ago for my teenage sons. They've both injured their knees in Football, basketball & wrestling. This year I did more research and came across these. My sons actually wear them without complaining and say they work well. We're 1/2 way through wrestling season and they're holding up well. Yes, they're a little pricey because you have to purchase 2, but they're WAY cheaper than surgery! Whomever shared the trick to pull them down inside out between matches, that's a great tip. That's what the boys do. No slipping or sliding down ever. My boys are 5 ft 7 in 205 lbs & 6 ft 215 lbs. They both said these are the best knee pads I've ever bought them. I think they'll last into next season, but even if they don't, I'll buy the exact same ones again. The only thing that could be improved is a little wider padding for more coverage (not thicker).

I used the fitting guidelines and am happy with the way they fit.
I ordered them because I had a bursitis flare up in my knee (getting old totally ticks me off). I own a dog walking company and a pet photography company so I'm alway on my knees putting on booties and leashes or taking photos. Plus there were some things I couldn't do at the gym. The knee pads have really helped and I'm happy with my purchase!

Good Shock absorption
I am using it for BJJ. It helps, stay in place for the most of time, but once it get wet it stars to slip down. Also would be nice if the pad was a bit wider. Good product overall

best out there !
I work in industry so I'm on my knees a lot ,concrete, grating ,scaffolds etc... I have spent a small fortune on knee pads over the years and these ones last the longest and fit the best . The reason for the 4 stars is that now they charge 16$ delivery. If you do buy, then buy two pairs as one pair would be in the wash...they can get ripe if you wear them all day like I do . Oh and also the price is for EACH pad not a pair .
