Not my first rodeo! Started with Cosori Oven. Wasn't bad but never hot enough to char a steak. Used it for several years.Retired it and got a NINJA positively reviewed oven. It did better than the Cosori and I enjoyed it until it gave up a week ago. It was difficult (impossible) to clean, was noisy but overall not bad. But it threw a terminal code and died.Now this VAL CUCINA oven. (Who?) Firstly, I balanced reviews with price. Was one of the least expensive ovens with good reviews.So far I'm impressed. I Air Fried 2 large skin on seasoned chicken thighs to perfection. Nice crisping on the skin perfect inside temperature. Interior of oven was easy to wipe clean of minor splatter.Not to worried about Char on steak as I burned my bacon this morning on broil. My fault. Ninja never got that hot. I like I don't have to have the broil tray up against the burners to cook like Ninja. Will update my steak experience when that happens.I have cooked 2 pizzas to perfection.The operation was simple to figure out. Had it figured out without the assistance of the instructions. Keep you glasses handy however as except for the Temperature and Cooking Time, nothing else is back-lit. Won't take long to just know what to push and turn however. Maybe that accounts for lower cost.Also I was surprised that the Val Cucini Inside width was 1 1/2" smaller than my other ovens. Having the oven for a while now I don't see that as a problem.All in all I can't imagine what spending another 1-300$$ would get me.

Excellent machine, performs well, used it hundreds of times, consistently cooked all types of food. There is a noticeable fan, but it is not loud. The build quality is great, and the electronic controls have never had an issue. It looks good and matches other kitchen equipment. Sits strudy on the counter. Would recommend and purhcase other items from this company again.

Soo happy with this toaster oven/air fryer! Perfect for summertime baking (for two of us)- and not heating up the whole house!

My only complaint about this thing is sometimes it just stops in the middle of whatever it's doing. Maybe in the middle of preheating. Or maybe in the middle of cooking. Like one time I was out in the kitchen when I was preheating and I noticed I didn't hear it anymore. The temperature still said the same thing the time was frozen but it wasn't running. Likewise one time it was in cooking mode and I was in the other room and noticed I didn't hear it anymore so I thought well maybe I didn't hear it ding that it was done but no it just was frozen. I'm probably going to take it to work to warm up my meals and buy a different brand. Other than that I mean I've made countless pieces of fish steaks bacon and air fryer mode I mean it works well but occasionally it just stops in the middle of a cycle. Odd.

Nice oven fairly easy to operate.Do not like that the oven light stay on when using but it can be turned off who knows how it is to change the lamp. It makes some dry toast ! Yes I recommend

The media could not be loaded. **UPDATE 2/10/2025** 4 months after purchaseI'm angry, mad, disappointed and baffled.This unit was not cheap. I wouldn't call it expensive either but def not cheap. I didn't buy this for a 1 time use. I'm not a dirty person, I'm really clean and care for the things I spend my money on. The unit I got is trash and I don't recommend spending your money on this or you'll end up in my predicament. I also don't ever come back to do updates on products let alone a criticizing one. Well the day has come and I hope my review reaches others and they take note. After only 4 months of light use this oven/toaster looks like it's been through WW1 and WW2 back to back. It's rusty to the point Idk it's safe to use it. It's not just rusted but there's stains that do not come off no matter how much I scrub. Also this unit doesn't close properly and always leaks steam and smoke around the door and trough the cracks in the back as seen in the pix theres light coming through from the bottom unionat vertical and horizontal surface cross. How is this possible??????? Please see the pix. Can't even understand how this happened? None of my appliances EVER looked like this even after years of abuse. Also how come others have not experienced this? Or are you guys not honest? Is mine a complete failure on quality control and if that's the case is this company therefore to be trusted? It looked sturdy and looked like it would get many many uses out of it. Ugh!**ORIGINAL REVIEW** 10/23/2024I'm overall super happy with this unit. I've cooked several times already in the 2 weeks I've owned it.I have yet to use it in some of its settings such as pizza, reheat, warm, slow cook or dehydrate but I've used it on all other settings.Pros:- cooks fast and really well- fits perfectly on the countertop with standard kitchen cabinets- is spacious- has all the accessories needed and are extremely useful- uses little energy- cooks multiple foods at the same time- not loud (it's not super quiet either but def less noisy than a standard microwave)Cons:- takes a forever for toasting bread so be patient- mine releases condensation at the front upper corners of the door- vanity colors are not cost justified- steep cost for the quality (see above why)Overall:I'm keeping it despite the issues because it does what it claims and reduced my cooking time in half. I still recommend this unit but wouldn't recommend to pay so much more just for a limited edition color. Looks sturdy, looks durable, it's going to cook a lot of yummy dishes so we will get our money's worth for sure.
