I bought two chargers before this not on amazon thou but those chargers dis not work. I got this one and I am happy with it my laptop is beeping because its not the correct fit. What I love about this product is that it told me what exactly to look for on my original charger like the serial number and the volutage and then match it to the product to see if it would work for my acer laptop. That is what I did i was nervous after buying it but when it came and I plugged it in what it for two days I notice it never made the beeping sound showing no charging. Glad I made the purchase so follow the product instructions to see if this charger type works for your laptop.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The product works well it chargers the laptop with no issues. I gave it four stars due to the tip of right angle connector is a bit smaller than the original so it slips out from time to time, other than that I have no issues with this product.

Got it to replace the charger I forgot on a trip. So far, seems to fit and is powering up my Acer A515-46. Due to the number of different Acer models and chargers, I came to realize that I couldn't be 100 percent sure this would work. The reviews made the whole thing sound like a crapshoot and even a trip to a local Staples, where a kind employee took a lot of time to try and find a compatible adapter failed. So, thinking I needed backup to this backup, I brought a second unit from a second seller. Both chargers appear identical down to the mfgr and model number, however one of them seems to fit just a bit better. Given that they are identical in every way, I have to assume the fit was just a question of factory variances. Both work and I'm keeping both, since they're less expensive than anything at a retailer.

I bought this and I have an Acer nitro 5 gaming laptop. An Acer nitro 5 is an Aspire but pimped out. The plugs are the same for the year that I have. Also none of the amp ratings are correct for any of the nitro 5 chargers AT ALL on Amazon. So I bought this one. Incorrect amp rating and the plug isn't correct. All of you need to list the MODEL YEAR OF THE CHARGER YOURE SELLING. I'm tirrd of buying things that don't work for me and it's too late to return.

Arrived quickly and came exactly as pictured and described. My original Acer Aspire 5 laptop charger broke and I was desperate for a new one. This was perfect, I've been using it for over 6 months now.

I use my laptop to connect to my projector on the deck. I sit out there every night year-round and watch TV with the dog because he doesn't want to come indoors. I have a retractable awning and sit out there even when it rains but the charger unfortunately lays on the deck and sometimes they get wet which means they die so I've killed several of these things. I always like to keep at least one spare. They would last just fine if I wouldn't leave the dang thing out in the rain! The price is great so I can't complain at all.

Does what it’s supposed to do

Delivery was supposed to be in 2 days. Waited a whole week for an email to confirm product was shipped. Called Amazon had to cancel the order and re-order. Delivery further delayed by a week by delivery company Dragon Fly with the worst customer service. Product does not fit well with the Acer Laptop. It's lose so must be used on a table, defeats the purpose of a laptop!!

Needed a new power cord for Acer Aspire 5 after original one stopped charging computer. Computer bought in 2021. Read reviews about its loose fit to the computer's power jack and they were correct but it somehow stays in. Just don't jerk your laptop from the power cord. For under $30 Cdn, the cord does its job which saved me from going to a repair shop or buying a new laptop. Had it for almost 2 wks. Would like to give it 4.5 stars now, and, would give it 5 stars if the fit was as firm as the original's
