Seriously, they are so simple and useful. I have about one million hanging lights in my dark 1950's rambler to stave off depression, frustration and support my unfortunately matched hobby of indoor plant-rearing. I have a lot of cords to try and run neatly and these are the smartest way to look like I'm super professional and put-together. Nothing is worse than loose floppy cords dangling all over the place and these "swag hooks" (love the name) solve that problem.My only notes for this item are 1) please make these out of metal or wood. I hate plastic. I feel overwhelming guilt purchasing new plastic items, and while these seem fine for my lights, I winder how much weight they could support. 2) Please make these in packs of more than just 3 or 6. I could easily order and use a 25 or 50 pack.

not very durable. brittle plastic. looks amazing but not for swag with weight or movement, as they will crack under stress.a very clean look, but awkward to mount in awkward spots (secured a swag switch with a cup hook for durability). good for lightweight mobiles or something you'll never move.

Instructions (and hardware) are included for installing in concrete/brick and hollow drywall. Drill (with 3/8 bit) and screwdriver are required, but not included. Measuring tape and pencil are recommended.Installation is very easy, and the instructions are clear. The installed product is very secure, looks nice, and works very well. I used these chandelier hangers to space out a few dining room lights. My original setup had only one light but I wanted to add two coming from the same box. These hangers let me line them up perfectly. They take about thirty seconds to install also.My main concern is that they are made of a slightly brittle plastic. Thank goodness these came in a three pack because I snapped the second one when I over tightened the screw. My lights only weigh about 1.5 pounds each so I think these hangers will be fine now that they're installed. I'd be cautious if the lights weighed over 5 lbs though.These were just what I needed so I'm giving them 4 stars. Just don't install them with an impact driver like I did :)

This 3 piece set comes with everything you need for practically any type of installation you would need to handle with a plug-in pendant light. It comes with 2 sizes of screws (the longer ones are useful if your light is heavier), 2 types of anchors to accommodate different wall materials and weight of the light, and instructions. There's a hole in the middle of the top piece which the screw goes straight through. I recommend drilling a pilot hole first because you may not be able to get your power drill's screw head attachment all the way into the chamber of the hook if it's a little thicker, so you might have to finish with a regular hand screwdriver.
