Well worth price @ $11.99
These lights are well worth the price at $11.99. they are beautiful, bright and work well even when connected in series. The only negative is they FEEL cheap in hand. We'll see how they last

Best holiday light ever
There is nothing like theses lights. Easy to connect to other strands, surprisingly durable and the color is perfect I have 6 sets. I will be getting more. Hands down. Best Christmas lights ever.

Can’t select what mode you want
Is beautiful, however, I thought you could select which lights you wanted to show. It cycles through all of the modes. I think the meteors are a little too close. Other than that it is beautiful!

Product is as described
I hung these just about 2 weeks ago and the lights work as described, are bright and festive. It takes many strings to completely cover a tree. If they show good longevity, we will purchase more.

WARNING: 20 Tube Sets Do Not Extend Together!
The effect is quite beautiful. The tube circuit boards are well made and the clear covering is substantial enough. A fundamental design flaw exists in the wire gauge used to string the units tube-to-tube. It appears to be 20-awg or 22-awg clear, two-wire cable. The voltage drop across all 20 tubes won't allow you to plug two sets together even though there is a female connector on one end. When you try this the 2nd string drops to half brightness and gets really erratic. So prepare to do a lot of extra work when hanging these. Each 20-tube string will need a separate tap/outlet from your power source. Quite the pain in the a** if you are hanging multiple sets of these along the full eve of your house. I had to spend an extra $300+ in electrical supplies just to power up all the sets separately. I really wanted to give a 5-star review but due to all the extra work and cost to lay this out to make everything work only deserves a 3-star review.

I really like these outdoor lights. I always thought installing them would be too much trouble, so I wouldn't buy them. But a friend recommended these electronic lights, and they look fantastic with my Christmas decorations. They automatically turn on at night, but they're not glaring, which I love. Plus, there are so many of them that they don't look monotonous at all, and my kids love them. The batteries are also very durable. I'll keep them on throughout the holidays because they automatically switch on and off during the day and turn back on at night, so I don't have to worry about the batteries running out overnight.

"This 25-foot display features 20 tubes with 960 upgraded LEDs that shine significantly brighter than conventional options." I have started this review by quoting directly from the product description, because for me the illumination level produced by this EAGWELL outdoor light string is one of THE most important features. I find that these are very bright lights, and have uploaded a video that hopefully shows the effects. And since a video like a picture is worth a lot of words, I won't therefore go into details of the operating effects this generates. WYSIWYG. The combination of 20 separate light tubes and a larger than average number of LEDs creates a very bright lighting effect. I'm not entirely convinced that it is not in fact TOO bright as I only used one string to drape around a convenient tree for testing purposes and the effects were as you see in the uploaded video. Personally I would have preferred either a few less LED light emitters or some way of dimming down the output generated as I find the effect tends to overwhelm the area in which it is placed and is, for me, perhaps too much of a good thing. But as always, mileage may vary here, and I mention this just as an advisory so that there will be no surprises when these are activated. In reading the previous reviews, I noted that they covered just about everything that need be noted about this EAGWELL product so I won't just repeat those points again here. As always, I urge anyone interested in these to read as many of the posted reviews as time allows to get a fuller appreciation of the features involved . The issue I do want to emphasize again, even though it has been touched upon previously is something that is also mentioned, but, imo, not prominently enough, in the product description, which states ---- "Remember to protect connectors from direct water exposure during heavy rainfall for extended durability." What this means is that you CANNOT allow the power block to be exposed to water. Yes the light string itself is protected against water damage but the power block is not, If it gets wet it will fail at some point, and I learned this to my cost from unfortunate past experience with similar devices. The MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember when installing this string is to ensure that the power block is enclosed in some form of water tight container. I feel that this information is not emphasized as heavily as it could be in the product write up. The bottom line is that for viewing purposes "each tube contains individual IC chips that create dynamic, random cascade patterns. Unlike ordinary Christmas lights, the intelligent system alternates between synchronized meteor showers and captivating random sequences." And they do indeed put on a very attractive, eye-catching, display which will certainly become a focal point for your Christmas decor.

Video's worth a thousand words so you can look at that mainly. Otherwise, when I got it there is a strip of lights surrounded by a cylinder of plastic around it to protect it. When I plugged it in at first it didn't light up. I left it like that for a minute or so and it still didn't light up. It's got a regular outlet plug on one side and a weird connector on the other side which, thankfully, I had similar set of lights that it could connect to from before so I connected them at my wits end in hopes that it would do something. Surprisingly it did. I don't know why it did but they suddenly turned on. After that I disconnected the two and just plug in this light and now it lit up properly from there on. The lights are very bright and they make a big impact wherever you hang them. They're supposed to be able to handle the elements so I strung them on my rail outside the house. The first half of the video shows them when they're actually working properly, which is 90% of the time or more so far. The second half is when it's not working properly, which is becoming more often in the few weeks that they've been up. Some days it'll be perfect and then other days it'll only be the green that lights up. It'll be broken like that whether I unplug it and replug it or not, and then another day it'll be working properly. So I don't know what the deal is with this thing but I don't have high hopes for the longevity of this product. When it IS working it's beautiful and powerful and looks like a high quality item so it could get 5 stars in that case because it's not mediocre at all while it's on. But if it stops working properly in under a month, and doesn't turn on properly right out of the box then there's not a lot of hope for it. Maybe I got a faulty one, maybe the wires are a bit mangled (not by my doing as I just plugged it in and then strung it outside right after with tape), but they might be really fragile. They're also quite expensive so they should be a little more reliable. Aesthetically they have all the nice christmas colors, which is great, but it would be fun if I could set the colors or have an option like all blue, all red, or whatever. It's a set color. That's my experience with it. It definitely has character but it doesn't seem reliable.

Likes - quite bright, even without the reflectivity of snow - lots of tubes and lenght (20 in about 20') - bright Christmassy colors, red, green, blue -good length of lead wire to the first light -may be a bit fussy to hang Dislike - the lights have three dedicated colors in each tube, you will always get the same number of red, green, blue lights firing in sequence - no adjustment of speed or off/on setting - the conductor wire is quite thin, I certainly wouldn't suspend them by the cord and the manufacturer rightly suggests you use the 'O' fitting on the top of each light tube to support the weight with a hook or separate thin cord - depending on your display, you may prefer a monochrome Meteor Shower instead of tri-color Conclusion These are really good, bright, simple lights that should last a long time. Sometimes having too many adjustments create an annoying fuss. These are straightforward and will look very nice on my balcony handrail.
