Excellent Value
I've got to say that this phone is proving to be an excellent value for its price range. The 256gb of memory is more than enough but combined with a 1tb SD card it's far more than even flagship phones. The Dolby Atmos is absolutely outstanding. The sound quality is clear and the volume is far more than adequate. The phone comes with a virtual stock Android 13 experience and Motorola have added only a couple of their own apps, so the phone comes with virtually no bloatware. I've found the user experience is fast and crisp. It does come with a combined power/ fingerprint sensor button on the side, so just be aware of that if you prefer an underscreen fingerprint sensor.Even though it comes with an LCD screen rather than oled, I haven't really found this to be an issue and doesn't detract from my viewing experience. But at this price range it's more than adequate. If you have lots of pics/vids be aware that there is no gallery app on this phone. Google Photos is the default gallery. I've never really got on with this Google app, but a simple gallery app is very easy to download from Google Play.In short, I've found the Motorola G54 a very good phone with good audio and visual alongside a very good and responsive core and screen.I'm more than happy with this phone so far it's very very much value for money

The budget king.
If you want to buy a cheap, budget phone which is not particularly crippledin any way, look no further.Lenovo as an owner of the Motorola brand is doing the better job with Motorolathan with the Lenovo itself. It has 8GB RAM, 256GB ROM,up to 1TB micro SD card support,NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, headphone jackand more than enough for the price. It's just a shame that in the UKis not officially availablethe Power Edition of this phone. The differences:12 GB of RAM,6000 mAh battery, very slightly higher weightand thickness of the phone,33W charging, and IT'S EVEN CHEAPER.But what can we do, if it's not available here.If we're fair and comparing this phone to the same,or very similar price category, you can not buy a better phoneright now for £149,the nearest, very slightly better is £199,what is one quarter more, and if you want to go higher,it's at least plus another £100.This phone can be quite fastwith the right settings and using.Without one hundred appsrunning in the background,or without the unrealistic expectations, because obviously,it's not an ultimate ultracutting-edge flagshipand somewhere the corners were cut,but overall, it's an amazing phone. No bloatware like in the cheapest phones elsewhere, just clean Android, running smoothly and without any bugs. It's even easy to find the accessoriessuch as casesand screen protectors, what is unusualfor the phones in this price category. On YouTube are videos about the settingsand "tweaking" this phone,so you can get maximum for your money.I just strongly recommendchanging the animationsin the Developer Options menuto 0.5x,I'm doing this with all of my phonesfor ages already and it's much faster. So, tap seven times on the build number,it will unlock the Developer Optionsand there find:Window animation scale,Transition animation scaleandAnimator duration scaleand all of them set up to 0.5x.Apart from the animations, there are also other things to changein the Developer Optionsto speed up the phone.Switch on:Enable Wi-Fi verbose logging,Wi-Fi scan throttling,NFC stack debug log,Force 4x MSAA,Force allow apps on external,Force activities to be resizable,Enable non-resizable inMulti-window,Don't keep activitiesand Standard limit.Standard limit is about twenty processesrunning on the background,so it's enough for 95% situations.Occasionally, some apps or settings will tell youthat you need to switch this offto keep them working smoothly.Just two categories of people can be disappointed. The hard-core players, because it's not a gaming device, but you can still play the games, just with the lower resolution. The second category are the photographers, because the cameras are not the best. But it can be improvedwith the future software update. If we're not expectingthe £1,300 level for £149,there is no any serious problemwith this phone. The only bad thingis the Motorola's update policy. The Android 14 is finally availableand it's a huge difference in speed betweenthe previous Android 13,and the current Android 14.It's much faster now, than ever before. If you want to buy a phone with better update policy,it's at least the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G,and higher, but it's at least £100 more. So, I can recommend this phone for sure.

Great for the money
I'm usually an iPhone user, but work decided they would remove WhatsApp from our phones so I needed to get a cheap android as we use WhatsApp for all our club related communication as well as the local FA. This phone is great. The camera isn't as good as my iPhone 14 (obviously), the OS is a little clunkier, and I'm dropping a star because the touch screen isn't quite aligned with the buttons. However screen resolution is excellent, battery life excellent, memory is excellent, storage is excellent and all for a really good price. Highly recommend at this price point.

Just wow
Now I admit I'm no expert when it comes to smart phones but this works superbly well and seems an absolute bargain for the price paid. I cannot imagine how many of the phones you see can possibly be worth that much more. Wifi calling was a must because I live in a not-spot, and this is perfect, it's all great. Compared with the last smart phone I bought a few years ago which cost about the same, this is on a different plane altogether. Battery seems to last well, size is generous but not excessive, fingerprint reader works well and is a nice touch. Hello Moto indeed.
