Lion Brand Yarn DIY Glow Chenille, Bulky Yarn, Purple, 1 Pack

The yarn is a bit tricky to handle but with patience and practice gets manageable and the finished product is lovely and soft. And it does glow in the dark.

This isn’t chenille. It’s a string with flat fibers across it in one direction. It breaks very easily and isn’t worth wasting your time over. I saw mixed reviews so I had hoped I would have had a better experience but it was terrible. Returning.

It glows very bright. Makes my crochet projects more fun.

The only complaints I have are it's stiffer than regular chenille and doesn't have the best glow but I do very much enjoy crocheting with it and the look of it I would recommend it for most crocheters but overall it's pretty good and a good price well actually cheaper than most it's good for people with a budget it's a little smaller than I thought it would be but it's still great. This review is mostly about flaws but it's still amazing yarn. It's as thick as needed. Could use a little more description because I thought it would be bigger but still worth the $5 worth more than that actually. I very much enjoyed crocheting with the yarn. This yarn does not glow very brightly in the dark, barely visible. I gave it three stars because it won't let me write a separate review for the pearl color. The pearl color shows up quite well and is very pretty. The yarn is very tough, prickly, and coarse to work with.

The texture is rough. I bought it to make glow in the dark alien plushies and it absolutely will not work for that. I used 3 hook sizes and tried several times this yarn will not glide against itself so you can pull a magic circle shut it just breaks off. It does absorb light well even when left sitting in a not super lit spot and the glow looks nice. I'm just upset it won't work for my needs

I love anything glow in the dark and love how bright and soft this is. worth it

The item came while packaged as usual. The iron itself is fine but the glow effect isn't very good. Other than that, the item is completely fine

The yarn is good quality and exactly as described.

Much smaller then pictured

The amount you get (50g) is such a small skein it does glow when you let it soak in light for a while which was cool. Got it to make a crochet star with but I wouldn’t buy it again because of the price and the feel of the yarn is rather rough and not soft despite being chenille
