Our soccer club ordered this lock so we could give access to our equipment shed to each individual coach. As admin I can give access to each coach via their phone number, and all they need to do is walk up to the lock with the app open on their phone. I get a notification that the lock was opened/closed and by who at what date/time. Our winters get extremely cold, so I plan on swapping this out with a standard lock during the winter months when we are not using it as frequently.

I bought this lock to keep my kids out of the pantry and stop them from binging on snacks. I have teens and I’ve tried word locks but they always sneak up on me and see the code or figure it out. Keys are also a no go because if i leave my keychain laying around they steal the key then I’m locked out of my pantry. I thought this lock was the solution. Master lock has a great reputation so i spent the money and ordered it. My kids just mess around with the push ring and it pops right open. I changed the code sequence again my kids fidgeted with the ring and the lock popped right open. I turned my Bluetooth off and it stayed locked. This is not practical in a smart home where you rely on your Bluetooth for music, nest thermostat, lighting, etc. It’s now past the 30 day return policy so I’m stuck with an expensive useless lock. Extremely disappointed master lock. You blew it with this design!!!

Awesome Lock! So good I bought more for the other areas that I needed them!

We have several of these across multiple properties. They are easy to manage access remotely. New contractor needs access? Add them in the app and they get an email. You can manage individuals or groups for each lock or the whole system.

I love this lock. Will only unlock if you are near with your iPhone after downloading app. You can set temp passcodes for others like workman or guest who also have to download app. Or you can open for them from wherever you are.

Broke after a few weeks, stuck open. I need a dozen or so bluetooth padlocks so if this is the failure rate, that means I'll be replacing a lock every week. I'll find a bluetooth lock from a different manufacturer who doesn't manufacture VAVE cheap junk.

Hates the cold. 40f is too cold for this lock.

This lovk is not only a great value but its very reliable and easy to use, to add users and to set up with different combinations. So far outdoor use it has worked well in extreme cold and rain.

It is a good lock except it has one defect. It works on an app which can be hacked into and get the lock removed from the app. That is what happened to me. I have informed Master lock and now waiting for their solution to this problem.

Expensive. But it is a good lock and Bluetooth works well with it
