camping supply, I think everyone needs one.

I didn't know what to expect considering the price, when it showed up I was very impressed with all the bonus features. having a full size shovel in my hiking bag comes in handy.

It generally works for what it is, which i'd consider to be last resort type of package or something for rare use. Specifically, the axe function is poor because it screws to the post and a whack or two and it comes lose and requires continual tightening, and of course the weight distribution is bad so its an ineffective axe unless you're that desperate.The shovel function works though, and its great that it does break down into a small package to keep in the car for me.

Feels hefty and sturdy in hand. Hatchet and included knife have nice edge. Compact carry case allows for additional storage, but is probably too heavy to be carried in a backpack. Well worth the purchase and value for the dollar.

The quality is good, very sturdy. Comes in its own bag. Very happy I have this in the truck.

Hatchet broke after 3 or 4 uses. Seems like a solid kit overall, everything except the hatchet.
