Cleans the track really well. Works on DCC as it'd only the pad motor that has a motor. You can convert to DCC if you wish to tinker

This wagon works well I can not really fault it but you do need a strong engine to pull it, i used two in tandem this went very well. I have track out of sight and hard to get at and the cleaner was brilliant for this.

Ingenious and useful. Only drawback was that, as the product was shipped from Japan, the instruction leaflet was in Japanese. However, an Internet search yielded an English translation to the original Japanese text. This was published by the manufacturer, but not from this source, which proved difficult to locate - even Tomy's UK office didn't seem to recognise Tomytech as part of their organisation.

the item came as described when i tested them one did not contacted the dealer who agreed to have it back to test, when he confirmed it was faulty he gave me the option of money back or have a new one, so i had a new one and he did mention that it would take a few days.i would recommend this item from the seller as the service he gave was excellent, the only thing i would say is that the cleaning wagon is fairly heavy so you need a good loco to push or pull it.

Works well if you have a locomotive powerful enough to pull it

The TomyTec track cleaning vehicle is absolutely fantastic! I was a little sceptical when I bought it - but it works brilliantly. I have re-gauged it for TT scale, using different bogies and couplings, and following its first trip I found it incredible how much muck and fluff was around on my layout, and how well it was all vacuumed up. I can recommend it wholeheartedly!

4 stars not 5 as not had long enough to assess durability. So far seems to be a good quality bit of kit. I use it on DCC (Digitrax Zephyr +) and with the wagon set to CL Power seems to work very well with no heating. The vacuum is the most useful and hoovers up a lot of rubbish. The polisher is good but does need liquid cleaner. The sander requires GREAT care. It's powerful and very effective so don't allow it to stop on one spot.
