Love these batteries, short stubby and you can directly connect them to your esc no plug needed

I am a club racer. I don't run in national events. I've run these batteries for a bit over a year in a few different classes now (2wd 21.5 buggy, 2wd SCT, M Chassis) and they are still holding up fairly well. I don't sit and dyno my batteries trying to find the most correct mAh values or lowest IR. I've had my cars on podiums in A-mains at local races. These will be fine for you unless you need ROAR spec batteries.

This battery is quite disappointing, both batteries have way off internal resistance, and won't balance, one battery can't even reach 4.20v and is stuck at 4.19v which is bad for a brand new battery. Yes it's cheap, but I have same priced batteries and cheaper ones that are balanced correctly, and are 0.5 ohms away from each other. 3.0ohms is way too far for both batteries. That kind of reading is usually for a months old used battery. Not only that, I can only put 2800mah back into the battery, usually other batteries with 5000mah capacity, I could put a minimum of 3800mah back. As a result these battery feels like a 4000mah.

The batteries boast a nice hard case, and a first for me anyway, removable Banana type battery leads. There is no doubt that the Hoovo Engineering Team were forward thinking and decided on this design to make it easier for us to adjust and distribute the LiPo battery weight by installing these in two or more locations in our models, wiring them in Parallel or Series.This version of the Hoovo are a little heavy for smaller Aircraft weighing in at 7.3 Ounces. The hard case design will certainly make these a popular choice for Cars, Boats, Rock Crawlers, and larger Aircraft. The Hoovo LiPo set contained all of the warranty information and easy to read, care of use instructions in the package.One thing that wasn't included in the Hoovo Two Pack LiPo Set, was Dielectric Grease. I would suggest the use of Dielectric Grease or a suitable Battery Terminal protector on the battery sockets and Banana Plugs to protect the leads and the battery from corrosion given the environment that we typically choose to play with our RC Toys. These products are readily available in any electronics of hardware store.I definitely give this Hoovo LiPo Two Battery set a Five Star Rating. I have been on the hunt for a Shorty style 7.4V battery to power my Traxxas Rustler for quite some time, as my original batteries have lost their charging capacity. Specifically, I was in search of a battery that not only was a Shorty style but is also designed for balance charging, aiming for prolonged battery life. Additionally, I was hooping to find a 5000mAh battery that is lighter than my original pack.After trying out the Hoovo battery, I must say I am genuinely impressed. The attached images show how well the pack fits into my Traxxas Rustler. What I particularly appreciate is that it occupies only a fraction of the battery compartment, leaving ample space for adjustments. This feature allows me to shift the battery forwards or backward, giving me control over my truck's balance point.I had quite a list of requirements, and Hoovo's battery managed to meet all of them. Besides its small size, it is also thoughtfully constructed. Moreover, the pack comes with bullet style connectors, which, although not directly compatible with my RC, can be adapted for various connections. This versatility means that, theoretically, I could use this battery pack with multiple RC models, simply by swapping out the cables.In terms of performance, this battery pack has proven to be incredibly reliable. It's sturdy and well-built, and considering the features it offers, the price for this 2-pack is truly unbeatable.I highly recommend checking out Hoovo's offerings. In my opinion, they are becoming a prominent player in the market for batteries of this style. Their attention to detail and the functionality of their products make them stand out.

These showed up nicely packaged without damage. The batteries have a well made appearance and come with high quality wiring. If you’re going to use these in a race vehicle, you most likely have bullet connectors directly from your esc to the pack. Make sure you’re setup for these as they are 5mm bullet. These batteries perform well. Are they the punchiest batteries I’ve owned? No, but you really can’t beat the price on these. The specs shown are really good, but I have no way of knowing without the proper equipment to test them accurately. I do know that I have some other brand batteries with similar spec, that seem to give better performance, more punch specifically. These do perform well however, and give good run time. As long as these last for a decent amount of time durability wise, these are an extremely good value.
