The item arrived in good condition, in the typical bubble mailer. Inside of that it is packed in a small, heavy ziploc style baggie with the servo and a selection of servo arms and screws. I hooked it up to my SSC32 controller, which only outputs 6v, still the servo was fast and strong. It says it supports up to 8.4 volts, which would make it even faster and probably offer more torque. The metal drive heads are a nice addition. I use servos a lot for small robotics projects in a Halloween haunt, and this servo will be strong enough to support the entire upper body of my next character. However there is one problem with the servo I find sort of surprising and that is the fact the the control wire exits the unit on the same side as the drive head. So if you mount the servo in an upright orientation, you'll need to make sure to route the wire away from the mechanism. Thankfully there's enough space to do that with the provided arms, but I would have preferred if the wire were on the opposite side. Also the controller wire is only about 12 inches long, so unless you plan to put the controller nearby you'll need some sort of extension for it too. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with this little unit and look forward to putting it in action.
