I bought this along with a collar of a different brand in early March. I have to say, after weeks of usage, they are like finding diamonds in the ruff, and I have to give myself a pat in the back! The leash is well-made and stands up to the abuse in the weather (check out NY's weather in the last few weeks and you'll know what I mean), and it's owner. Did I tell you that it's owner is a fully grown puppy/Sheltie that has a knack for chewing/tearing up everything in his sight? Still, we try to minimize the abuses this leash suffers and it has held up well. The buckle is of high quality, and I especially likes the built-in elasticity into the leash. I am sure our energetic puppy appreciates that too. The "leather?" piece at the end of the leash is well-placed too, especially if you need extra restraint for training your dog. All-in-all, this leash has a very well-thought up design, it's self-evident that the designer is an experienced dog-handler and also a dog-lover! This is the third bungee leash that I have purchased and by far is the best one. It has rings placed in strategic areas so that you can attach items (such as "poop bag" canisters). It has a padded loop for comfort of your hand while walking the dog, and a place to attach a D-ring (I do this so that I can hook the D-ring to a beltloop on my jeans so my dog is still controlled even if I need to drop the leash for any reason. Plus, the attachment mechanism that hooks to the dogs collar has a sliding lock so that it is almost impossible for the leash to come off off the dog, it is secure.

I have 2 pits and the are not trained so they pull and I love these leashes. They are not expensive and they are amazing and very helpful and very durable That's What mattered most to me for it to be durable for my big dogs

I am so happy with this leash! I have a service dog in training who is a German Sheoherd. He's 7 months old and is already 75ish pounds. We have been working on loose leash walking and heeling at my side. With this and a prong collar for him it has done wonders. It's an excellent training leash due to the bungee part, but it's also perfect for just a regular walk in the park due to its size!
