update: Leather tore after a few dozen days of casual wear. Clearly a material defect. Nothing but static and redirect by their customer "service" both sides of the border. I would buy another set if it wasnt for them jerking me around. I should have trusted my gut and stuck with Danner. I am shopping for some now.

I cheaped out and bought a pair of original swat boots. Upon opening package and trying them on I immediately decided to return them. They felt too much like cheap vinyl. Anyway I spent the extra money and ordered these which I passed on the first time. They arrived and I was amazed. Boots are like slippers. Sooo comfortable. And excellent quality. Don't cheap out buy the trusted name. You won't be dissapointed .

These are great boots and in the short time I have had them I put on about 100 miles already. They provide excellent support and the anti-roll feature seems to work quite well. I have not tested the "walk'em dry" claim so I am unable to comment. I found the boots fit as expected, I wear a size 8M in my runners and other shoes and ordered the same in the S2Vs and they fit well. I did find that there is a break-in period, especially in the heal area. I have used a bit of moleskin and the more I wear them the less I get blisters. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about these boot or Amazon.

I’m only giving a 1 start because the stitching on top starting breaking 30 minutes after my first wear. I didn’t believe it, but it happened. They still felt very confortable. I did returned them.

Everything is high quality. The insole is inches think and the inside of the boot is soft material. The price is a little high, but there are somethings that you just don’t want to cheap out on. I had the regulars in the army and now I got the steel toes for my new job. Same great quality.
