I bought these because I wanted a churchkey in my home office for opening Topo Chico bottles. I didn't need them to be excellent, but they came that way anyway. Some other reviews have complained about these blades having sharp edges, which are a natural result of the stamping process. Since I was slightly concerned about this when I placed the order, I wanted to write and reassure future customers that this is not an issue at all. I just received my two-pack, opened one of them up, stuck my finger in the loop end and swung it around like the pros do. I experienced no discomfort whatsoever. These are exactly like the other blade I bought myself a couple years ago. You'd really have to try hard to injure yourself with one of these. Is it impossible? No, but if that worries you, you probably want a different style of churchkey anyway. These are appropriately flexible, and are not likely to warp unless you bend them deliberately with something far more immovable than a bottle cap. No, these don't come with an opening edge on both top and bottom, as pictured on the product page. This should be corrected. I, myself do not open bottles backwards, so I don't really care about this shortcoming. Pro tip: These are also great for opening BEvERage cans - just slip the thin edge under the aluminum tab and pry. This is an especially handy trick for people who have long fingernails they don't want to break. (A bartender with long nails taught me this.) My fingernails aren't long, but they are thin and brittle, so I use this technique often.

These are sturdy, but they are rough cut, so the edges are a bit sharp. I used sandpaper to soften the edges a bit.

Perfect to decorate and personalize for a gift. Used as a party favor for a seafood boil. Painted white before mod podging napkins on. They are still working well and seem durable. They are a nice weight so it doesn’t bend when using to open bottles.

These seem a bit oversized but do feel sturdy. The weight and feel of the bottle opener are exceptional, it is functional and ready to be elevated through engraving, powder coating, or vinyl. These blanks are not currently coated with a polyester rich powder coating which means they will not take heat transfer images out of the box. I have coated them and subbed to the and they do turn out beautiful. I would recommend these individually and as is for people looking to buy a affordable but quality bottle opener. Likewise I would suggest for business who create promotional or novelty gifts.

I specifically got this bar blade because of the double opening however what I got was the same as all the other bar blades on Amazon.
