Fender is one of the pioneers of electric guitar industry, with their Stratocasters (or Strats) being one of the best models ever. This Squier Sonic Strat is no different. The build is classic Strat design, with a Maple fretboard. It has an H-S-S configuration, so if you want versatility in the genres you want to play (especially as a beginner, this will be a great choice over an S-S-S configuration). However, if you want that classic, bright and sharp Strat sound or just an S-S-S configuration, get a Debut Stratocaster. The Tahitian Coral is a classic Fender color option based on vintage cars, and it looks amazing. Note that however, it’s more of a peach-pink shade in person and if you don’t like that shade, the color can be disappointing. I wished Amazon offered other colors (2-Sunburst and California Blue) for this model and configuration. A whammy bar and a fender Gig-bag was also included with the guitar, and it’s a good padded bag with back and holding straps and a front packet. Picks are not included, and the free guitar lessons on Fender Play (as described in the sticker present on guitar) is nowhere to be found for free. The delivery was swift and very reliable from Amazon and Seller, however mine has small black stains on Pickguard (which fortunately went away with little wipe with a damp cloth). Would recommend this if you want to buy an HSS beginner guitar, it’s sturdy and offers great value for money.

Dropping a late review (a year after I bought this guitar). I mean come on, it's a squier. Branded guitars don't get any cheaper than this. Of course the neck and middle pickups are pretty noisy as they're single coils but the bridge humbucker sounds great. I'd recommend using a good noise gate whenever playing (especially with high gain) to cutoff the hum. Playing with compression isn't really much of option. This is a great guitar to practice with as you can tune up pretty quick compared to my other floyd rose guitars which I only use when recording playthoughs as they can be quite a pain to tune and balance all the time. In short, a good guitar for the price and is great if you just want a backup guitar for rough use (basically just keep it outside the guitar bag for on the go pickup and practice) but if you're already pretty skilled and you've got the budget, go for another guitar in the 40 - 60k range and get this as a second guitar.

The best electric in the segment.....looks crazy..the only I was disappointed is we don't get the 'neck design as shown in the fig/picture' as a rosewood line or a brown line back of maple neck..before ordering the electric,I visited few stores...most of the store members said that...the particular neck design is a year ago sonic stratocaster model...present we get a plain maple neck...and also the particular neck design available only in affinity stratocaster and above models...when it comes to the design it has a beautiful maple neck with black fret dots..the fret are well polished no rust, no dents,no electronics problem and good paint job on the guitar... Black is totally Mad....

Wow Sexy Amazing

The quality is so goooooood and same goes for the soundddddddd.The pickups sound great for the price! The colour ain't pink but it ain't orange.Its the color of peach.It still maintains its stratty sound and vintage sound regardless of the price.You can't get any better guitar than this and the yamaha pacifica for this price range!The fretwork is 👍.It's also very very very comfortable.But I repeat, the sound is just 👌.Go for this.BUT THERE ARE TWO THINGS WHICH I WANNA MENTION.1.BEING THAT THE PACKAGE BEING A BIT DAMAGE BUT ITS FINEE.2.BEING THAT PACKAGE CAME EARLY. THIS GUITAR IS SO GOOD IT MAKES ME ANGRY😡😡😡😤

Atrocious delivery and service. The guitar body came dirty and slightly scratched and the first E string was broken. The tremolo bar was also missing and there were no other replacement strings.

Amazing quality. Daughter liked it a lot.
