Very sturdy and easy to mount. Crushes any size aluminum can up to 16 oz with ease. Putting a slight dent in the can before inserting it makes it even easier. I’ve crushed hundreds of cans with no issue and no deformation of the crusher. Made of solid steel. I expect it will last years. I would recommend this to a friend and buy again if needed.Just FYI: The arm is not spring loaded, so it needs to be all the way up or down so the arm doesn’t fall due to gravity. I’ve been bopped on the head by the arm a couple times after crushing one can and leaning over to grab a new one. It didn’t really hurt. It was more of a surprise than anything else. So, a very minor issue that shouldn’t deter a purchase. Adding spring loading would likely increase the price and cause issues of its own (pinching hazards, mounting issues, etc.)

I noticed before ordering, that it weighs a pound more than most other units.Mounted on a piece of Plywood and used 3.5" lag screw to mount to wall. Dry wall anchors provided are a waste as they would never hold up for very long. Unit is stiff operating when new which is good, Better than being loose and sloppy. From operation on 40 can's, looks like unit will perform well.

Great product. Made from stiffer material, as they say. It was very stiff operating it, ( without a can). I lubed it with silicone spray and now it works well...

This can crusher is incredibly effective, making recycling a breeze. Installation was easy. What's even more impressive is that my 7-year-old absolutely loves using it, which makes recycling a fun family activity. Definitely deserves a solid five stars!

Unbelievably effective. I've had several can crushers over my life and this is by far the best one. Feels solid. Smooth crushing action and feels effortless. Can stays where it is and doesn't pop out at you.
