My only rec is to ck the width of each band. I didn’t realize it was varying widths and had to make adjustments. The last thing is that we glued the replacement pieces… and it was difficult to find a fast drying glue! Superglue does NOT stick on this plastic to plastic! Specific Gorilla glue for plastics hard dry in about 5-10 mins. But overall, worked well.

The REQUIRED "1 piece of weaving tool" is included -- for me, it was impossible to do the rattan weaving repair without this tool. before purchasing this item of rattan and the tool, I tried using a flat screwdriver and needle-nose plyers. It took FOREVER to make even the slightest progress. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture showing all the damage before I started the project. If I had the chair arms would have shown lots of holes in the weaves from the deterioration - caused by sun over time. The arms were deteriorating on my 9 year old rattan recliner chair for a long time. I finally decided to just 'cut' the vertical weaves and pull them back. Then I took out the horizontal weaves that were mostly broken. Then I 'wrapped' the horizontal portion in a continuous strand to cover the damaged section that was about 24". Finally, I replaced the vertical weaves one row at a time. This is where the weaving tool was indispensable. I chose NOT to do a vertical weave on the underside of the chair arm as it was out of sight, and the arm was structurally sound and taut with only the upper weave. The color of the rattan varied as is mentioned by others. For me, this was not a problem. I'm just glad I didn't have to send these chairs to a landfill.

I'm not giving five stars because the product received was not the same as what was pictured in the ad. The color was the same, but it had a single ridge running its length. The ad showed a rough surface texture with no ridge. That being said, it was ok for what I needed so decided to go ahead and use it. Now I am almost done with the project and am not displeased with how it is turning out.

I have given this three stars and decided to keep the product but buyers should be aware that the actual product is lighter brown and striped on both sides. The photos on the site make it appear that one side is darker than the other. You get a lot of material and otherwise the product seems to work.

I just did my best guestimation for lengths and found it best to have leftover strands instead of coming up short. I did the horizontal sections for 1 chair seat and 2 of those footrests and still have some left.

I disliked the black stripes on it.

The worker helped me restore my beautiful patio chairs even though it took me a minute to figure out how to do it, but I got it done and it looks amazing. And the cost was really really worth it

I bought this set last winter to fix our outdoor furniture set. It worked out beautifully. Highly recommend!
