Genuine COOLSKIN STEAM Heat Resistant Anti Burn Protection Oven Gloves ONE Size Blue

I had ordered different oven gloves to use with a garment steamer but when received they said not suitable for steam. I then ordered these because they said they were suitable for steaming etc. On opening the packet the smell made me feel physically sick and thus far the smell has not be eradicated and until it has I don't think I will be able to use them so I can't say if they are suitable for purpose or not I am just hoping that leaving the gloves exposed to the air will remove the terrible smell and then they can be used for the purpose for which they are intended. So all I can say is if you order these gloves have your nose peg on before you open them!

Cuffs not as long as they look in the picture but the gloves do the job very well. Would not go back to oven mitts after trying these. They are much easier to use when manipulating things. I have medium hansd for a woman but they are not so large as to be unwieldy. Also worn by child 11 who managed to use them well. Well worth what I paid for them.

I feel that they are not as effective as the regular heat resistant gloves. They have a rubber like lining which I suppose is the steam resistant part which in my pair felt very peculiar in one glove as if not fitted correctly. Thankfully I found that if worn on the left hand it was much better. Considering the cost I would have expected more care in production. I also found that they were not as effective as my normal heat resistant gloves. So all in all disappointed.

Good insulators but I find the grip is slippy on saucepan handles. Also the 'one size' makes them hard to take off.

Personally I prefer this type of oven glove, good size that slips on and off easily and offers great protection whilst allowing greater dexterity than a mitt type glove.

Well these far surpassed my expectations. They're for cooking in a very small oven in a tight space aboard our motorhome and fit and work just like second skin . No more fiddly oven cloths and food spillages . Great product,keenly priced.

I have had these now since January 2015, Brilliant purchase, generous fit for me and hubby, wash really well, and no burns!!!

They work, that's the important bit.
