Great utensil.
Ok I really like this thing! Just one utensil for either stabbing food or shoveling it to face. I use the 1-quart mylar zip bags and while I had to put my hand a little in, I didn't have to go in past the zip and the texture of the handle made it easy to grip while cradling the tines in my thumb-forefinger nook and scrape stuff out of the bottom of the bag. I was worried about the texture sending white noise off in my brain because I'm autistic, but while the texture was definitely noticed, it didn't really bother me too much. The polish is very good on each end, though the shape of the bowl will take some getting used to as it feels like a soup spoon, but I eat a lot of soup out there so not much of a problem. Not flexible at all, I'm actually worried I would break it if I tried. This is my first piece of titanium anything and I'm incredibly pleased with it. Will update if anything wonky happens with it.

Perfect!
Now this is a bit expensive but I wanted something easy to use while on the trail. The quality is strong and good! It’s comfortable to hold, and the weight is super light.

Vargos titanium fork-n-spoon FINALLY a super all in one!
VARGO HITS THE BULLSEYE AGAIN: OK so I've wasted a good deal of time, hope, and money on other backpacking food utensils, even some of Vargos previous offerings that just didn't work well in my hands. I've "played the field" "with reckless wallet", on high end titanium forks, sporks, long handle spoons etc. I have 10 examples I don't know what to do with now that I've found this "GOLDILOCKS" version. After real world tests going on for 6 months; I went back to buy more and now own several of these for backpack, car, casita, wife's car, cooler, and behind the couch when dropped from carb induced coma. This item is my hands down favorite: deep reach, good handle, very good spoon, and fork, air weight. STRONG RECCOMEND. $$($).

Superlight, not stupidlight! Works perfectly with the 1L BOT!
Get the negative out of the way: consider the UCO Ti $9.19 version for the 700 BOT/most eating if on a budget.First, the polished bowl and fork ends REALLY do make a difference. Matte Ti feels like dry chalk even if its delivering yummy gooey food (trust me or blow $$$ to find out). Second, could it be thinner, shorter (hence lighter)? YES! but this is something that is as light as it can be and still preserve its full utility; and is PERFECT for the 1L BOT. I wouldn't shave a gram off of this thing to make it thinner nor shorter, nor make a smaller spoon bowl or take a tine off the fork...It is simply the most perfect spoon/fork combo I can imagine! I really hate sporks as they do the jobs of both a spoon poorly and do the job of a fork poorly. Before this FnS, I'd rather have a descent spoon and use sticks as chopsticks before using a spork. This is the ONE utensil to buy and use for life.

Finally, a long handled spoon that is also a fork.
I love this thing. It is titanium and well-made. It has a polished bowl and fork and the handle is long enough to go into a backpacking food bag. Who would’ve thought of such a design. I’m going to give a couple of them to my backpacking friends for Christmas.

Only Game In Town
Nobody else makes these, and I have scoured the face of the earth. Double ended, spoon and fork, polished, lightweight, durable titanium. Nobody else. With no competition, I'm surprised they're not charging more. Only improvement I'd suggest is some sort of sleeve or at least a cover for the pokey fork side. I repurposed my own with a 3x3.7 Inch Double Drawstring Cotton Cloth Bag for jewelry and other small bits and bobs. Still pokes through so I wrap with a small cut piece of microfiber towel first. Saves my cookset bag.

The best
Literally the best spoon/fork. I use it for hiking and overnight camping the best backpacking spoon i ever had.

Vargo spoon / fork
Great lightweight piece of kit. So many times you want a long handled spoon or a fork rather than a spork and this fits the bill perfectly and is sufficiently comfortable to hold. The only down side is that it doesn't come with a pouch but I still give it five stars.
