C-Hopetree 2.75m Half Garden Parasol Wall Market Umbrella for Outdoor Patio with Crank and Tilt

Needed a half shade for an awkward area on a large patio. This one is great, well made, thick fabric and a good weight. Only gripe, the button to angle the umbrella is quite high up the main pole, awkward to use if you're vertically challenged. But the umbrella itself is great and provides plenty of shade.

Who knew that there was actually a half umbrella! What a clever idea. I purchased an Adirondack set for our lanai and placed it along our west wall. It's great to sit and have a drink, but the sun gets pretty hot during the afternoon. I knew an umbrella would help, but I didn't think that was possible because of the placement of the set up against the wall. Then I came across these half umbrellas. I ordered the light blue one and it's so pretty and looks great with my set. It is made of quality fabric that should hold up against the sun and rain. I recommend and will be purchasing an umbrella cover, though, so it doesn't discolor and get stripes when it's cranked down because it will fade in the sun (they all do!). It's nice that it pivots to the left or the right, however, it does not pivot forward, which is why I gave it 4 stars. If we sit in the set in the afternoon, the sun is right in your eyes, and it gets pretty hot. I really need it to bend forward to block some of that sun. I may end up moving my Adirondack set so I can bend the umbrella to keep the sun out. Other than that, I love it and it's really a great idea.

Just purchased this umbrella so don’t know about longevity yet. But must note, I am only 5’3” tall. This umbrella stand is so tall, it requires me to stand on a chair to put in or take out the safety pin and to engage the tilt function. I would like to get a shorter lower pole but it doesn’t seem to be available. Standing on a chair every time I open or close the umbrella is very inconvenient.

This is just right for our small deck! It is very sturdy, and the color is amazing!

Bought this as a replacement for another make whose arms bent. Continues to look terrific. I leave it in the open position all the time unless there is a storm coming . Living in South Fl there is nothing but harsh sun and hard rain. This has been up for about 2 summer months without bending or fading. Definitely worth the money. Just invest in a good base and you will be happy!
