So you have to use Google Cast. In addition, if you think only Dolby Atmos is the spatial audio format because of Apple and others who have voted that way corporately, you are sorely mistaken. Sony's 360 reality audio which is based on the mpeg-h format, is another area of spatial audio that Sennheiser has brilliantly decided to include in their capabilities. This playlist has both 360 and Dolby Atmos. If you're in a Alexa household, you can create a speaker group including this unit and your others by going to that app and selecting speaker group and in speaker group. When you edit it, just choose the units you want to evolve. For example, upstairs with my big AVR. I have a fire Cube and I can connect it to this and a miniature echo that I have in the bedroom connected to a small non-spatial soundbar. To this will create whole house audio but it won't be a spatial audio. I have a JBL bar 9.1 that is moving upstairs and I haven't connected it yet but it's reputed to be able to play Google play cast. However, it can only handle Dolby Atmos. Which is why I got rid of it. Since in my big Spatial audio playlist of over 500 tracks, at least a third are 360 reality audio. And if you don't mind leaving out some major artists, go ahead and stick with Dolby Atmos. I know guys who think that's the only thing and forget the rest. Sonically with TV or audio content. This Ambeo Mini is a brilliant piece of equipment. PS They sell a subwoofer to pair with this, but it's ridiculously expensive and I'm not getting it. Unless they decide to make the price sane. However, it really isn't needed from my perspective. But then I'm not a big bass guy. I don't listen to that. Kind of music or bass is what it's all about. Enjoy this baby!

Probably the best sound quality sound bar in the market. I tried to test all the major brands in Best Buy before buying and this brand has the best clarity and deep bass, as well as the surrounding sound effects. Moreover, not only it’s great to connect with TV, but also it’s very decent to listen to music alone. It’s easy to set up and just need to follow up the instruments.

I bought this soundbar and an Ambeo Sub to connect to it. The thing about this soundbar is it depends very heavily on a mobile app to manage and to connect the sub. The soundbar alone is a great product - it sounds great, it works as advertised to create immersive soundscape. The problems all began when I bought the accompanying sub and tried to connect it to the soundbar. It was impossible. I tried power cycling the whole system, manual factory resets, restarting my phone - it didn't matter. The Sennheiser Smart Control app that is required to manage the system - absolutely refused to run the room calibration when the subwoofer was connected. It was showing a solid white light on the back of the sub which indicates it's connected to the soundbar.. but that didn't matter. The app is broken. The app is the reason why this is getting a 2 star review. If you're going to produce a product that is dependent on an app, it better be rock solid. The Sennheiser Smart Control app is a headache you don't need. Just avoid this product entirely if you want to have an external sub. If you do not care about the sub, then this will work just fine.

I purchased this wanting more dialog clarity. The sound is really good. But often when the TV is turned off (sound bar is connected via eArc and TV is set up to also turn Sound Bar off), the sound bar instead goes into Standby mode. To sync them back up, I have to keep turning the TV on and off several times until it finally syncs up again. It can be really annoying. However, the sound is really good so I decided to keep it and deal with it. UPDATE: I contacted Customer Support. They were very helpful and had me reset the HDMI cable connection. This seems to have fixed my syncing up problem!

Sound is amazing good product

Purchased this Sennheiser AMBEO Soundbar Mini in February (2024) and in May I started communicating a problem via email with their Consumer Audio Customer Support Team. My problem was every 3 - 10 days I would have to reboot the system to get all functions back up and running. From May thru July Sennheiser had me check firmware was up to date and had me reboot the soundbar in ways I’ve never thought existed. July 13 they received my address, contact information, unit serial number, ect. As they said the unit would have to be sent back. On July 25th Sennheiser, quote “I will go ahead and create the service order and provide you with a shipping label” Then on July 30th (after prodding them again) “Unfortunately, for us to swap the unit we would need your original soundbar in to us. I have escalated the box shortage to our management and we are waiting to hear back”. It is now August 16th and from Sennheiser? Crickets chirping. They don’t care about me or taking care of their faulty unit. At this point I have given up on Sennheiser and the last thing I will do is send them my soundbar before they send me a new one. After their track record of doing nothing and hope I go away, how stupid do they think I am. Worst customer service I have dealt with in decades. I passed up buying a less expensive Sonos unit at my local Best Buy to purchase this faulty Sennheiser. HUGE MISTAKE AND ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW PLEASE BUY ANYTHING BUT SENNHEISER!!!!

Never disappoint, Sennheiser! I love this sound bar via every way. The look is elegant and sound is crisp and bassy. It works flawless with LG C-series Oled TV. No disconnection. It also works great with Phones and Tablets. The surround sound effects are amazing with all those virtual surround techs compatibility.

Love it! Premium, connected excellently, sound and atmos is next level! App is super helpful and informative. Can’t get better than this in a small room.

Sennheiser es una gran marca y con esta soundbar no es la excepción, gran calidad de materiales y su sonido es bastante bueno en temas de calidad y fidelidad en el audio más allá de la potencia que se espera por el tamaño que esto también sorprende.

No es para música, es para explotar el audio en películas escuchar más nítido, se puede aumentar voces para cuando las películas son en español, también tiene modo nocturno haciendo que este no suene a volumen alto en las noches cuando todos duermen, pequeña para ponerla en un lugar donde no estorbe. Cambio automático de audio depende de lo que se escuche sin mover los controles, tienes control físico y por medio de app, calibración de espacio automática realizada por la barra para una mejor experiencia inversiva. Escuche la sonos 2 y esta es mucho mejor, el precio inmejorable en Amazon. Para configurar realízalo vía wifi, el manual está en la página oficial, vía bt como en la guía rápida que tiene la barra no funciona.

Pairing with TV and phone is smooth. Great sound, but couldn't feel the surround effect. Also a bit pricey.
