Bought a pack of two (pairs) of these lights. They're as bright as I was expecting for this size/price, and fine for what I need. Come with a range of fixings, and even a couple of USB mains power adapters. I'd hoped that given the stated size of these (42cm) I could somehow fix them into the top of an IKEA ÅKERBÄR mini greenhouse that I have a few small houseplants in (to protect them from my plant-murdering cat). Complete win! The lights have little screw lugs at each end, perfectly spaced to simply slot under the metal clips holding greenhouse perspex panels in place. So a pair of lights can be held in place with no fixings at all - I need to train the cables a bit, but they look great and will give my ropey-looking plants a better chance of survival in my dark, north-facing study. Will try using the second pair to start off some seedlings. The only minor annoyance: as I think others have mentioned, there's an integrated timer/controller unit, so these can't be left set to simply turn on when the external power switches on. This means you can't use a timer or smart plug to control daily on/off times for them, which would have been awesome. Still giving them 5* as they otherwise work great, and I lucked out with fixing them into the mini greenhouse.

I like these lights because they are light, inexpensive and get the job done. The packaging was problem free, and I apreciate the extras: you have the options of screws to bolt on to a framework, or sticky strips if you dont want to make any holes. As the lights themselves hardly weigh, the sticky strips work fine to fix the lights onto the glass pannels of my indoor greenhouse without having to buy any extras. I checked out the Lux output with a handheld LX1330B Lux meter, they seem to be able to put out a good 5000 lux at a distance of 10 cm above the leaves, wich is sufficient for my house plants. I found over time this really helps them get through the dark winter months in good health. Ive also been tinkering with the inbuilt timer: it comes in 3-9 and 12hrs, and Im going to tune it to 12hrs in summer and 9hrs in winter, to simulate real light conditions. I find the automatic on-off really helpful as when I try to control them manually I often forget until later in the day, and the plants really like a periodic pattern and not an erratic one. All in all, a good value for a small price, useful to grow plants and seedlings on the kitchen counter, in a dark corner or indoor glass cabinet.

certainly reduce the 'leggyness' of seedlings, not sure there's any need for the lower brightness settings, The control unit works well and to-date seems to be quite rugged

Used inside my snake tank to keep the plants alive. Much cheaper than the jungle bulbs the reptile shops want you to buy. Will buy again

Nice product, shame it don’t last long, 3 leds off and now started blinking every so often after 6- 8 hours of use, cabe is long and sturdy connection to the remote.

Bought for my chameleon habitat and this is brilliant as the two light parts cover the area well and reach all the plants giving them all the light they need. As you can dim the lights it also doesn't impact on my chameleons health.

For a snake tank that I want plants in. I cut the wires to wire it to turn on instantly with a timed plug, easy to do. Just put both blacks together and red of course for power. And all the lights turn on when you switch the plug.

Super easy to mount with zip ties and love the brightness options. These lights are the only light source in my room usually and my skink always knows it’s daytime with these light bars. The timer option works well and my plants have been growing well.

I bought 2 sets of 2 to install in my little green house for my indoor garden seedling. It was easy to install with zip ties on the metal rods and the cords are long enough to plug in 2 different outlets. Works great even when I had to leave them on for a few days because my location does not provide enough sunlight. My seedling did great and are now outside in my garden.

Die Lampe macht schönes Licht für eine indirekte Beleuchtung, dass es aber für Pflanzen zum wachsen genügt, kann ich mir nicht recht vorstellen. Tageslicht sieht anders aus. Ich hätte sie gerne über einen Schalter betrieben, was aber nicht möglich ist. Sie geht nicht wieder an, wenn man sie nicht an ihrem eigenen Schalter wieder einschaltet. Vielleicht müsste man den abschneiden und direkt verdrahten, das ging mir aber zu weit. Über eine W-lan Steckdose oder normalen Ausschalter geht es jedenfalls leider nicht. Wenn man das aber nicht braucht, macht die wie gesagt schönes Licht, wobei man auch zwischen 3 Lichtfarben wählen kann. Die zeitschaltuhr habe ich nicht getestet.

Excellent product. I have to bring ny plants inside during the winter and these lights work perfectly on the shelving they are on. The cord is long enough and that makes it easy to use them in multiple areas of the shelf.
