This is a great product. We've used it a couple times, and its big enough to have 2 different packs of hot pot broth, 1 in each side. Each side holds around 7 cups of water and the hot pot soup packs usually require 6. When its just us 2 people eating, we divide the hot pot soup base pack in two and use 3 cups of water on each side. Then we can add more water and different ingredients to have our own choice of acupuncture, for example I love adding a ton of raw garlic to mine and he likes his more spicy. So we can customize our own sides easily. Its easy to clean, nothing sticks to the pot itself, and easy to adjust the temps for it. It heats up quickly and stays boiling.

Pros: - Easy to use - Easy to clean - Very Durable Cons: - Haven’t had one yet. Summary: My spouse and I love the product. We make Hot Pot with 2 different Hot Pot Bases. One spicy and the other clear. No issues at all and good product for the price. Tip: If you’re cooking indoors, I recommend opening a few windows and get air circulating otherwise your home will start smelling like all the spices used. If you have a lingering smell after usage from all the food you’ve been eating. You can boil some oranges with ground Cinnamon/cinnamon sticks and set to a simmer after to act as a humidifier with natural smells. If the smell is still there, you can also heat up some coffee grounds on the stove until it starts to smoke and once it starts smoking and burning a little, walk around the affected areas with the pot to spread the smoke. Be careful about putting it around smoke detectors. You can have your home smelling like either cinnamon/oranges or smoked coffee. These are just some natural ways to do it if candles, and other air purify products aren’t working.

Like everyone, I read reviews extensively; especially for cookware. This product seemed pretty good with 4.5 stars. I purchased it and unfortunately discovered many minor flaws, and some MASSIVE - extremely HEALTH CONCERNING - FLAWS. Minor flaws: - you have to assemble the handle. There are limited instructions, and spare bolts/washers for some unknown reason - the handles on the side and the top are plastic, seems a bit flimsy - the burning on the bottom is covered with a thin aluminum protector, mine had a dent in it - the burner is only a single coil. Heat distribution takes a while at full temp - the lid doesn't fit exactly on the pot, there are some cracks allowing heat/steam to ventilate - not a big issue but weird Major flaws: - it says BPA free, but nothing about PFOA free. Nothing - anywhere. In fact, subsequent Food Party products show PFOA and BPA free. - this product is not on the Food Party website, but they instead show their newer / larger hotpots that are PFOA free. WHY?? Critical / HEALTH FLAW: The smell is there when boiling water (as mentioned in the manual), it took like 20mins for it to go away... ok. After dumping the water I decided to examine the food service. There were little black chips that easily fell off when I picked at them with my fingernail. That's concerning!! The bigger problem is after putting my fingers on the cooking surface my fingers were black!! BLACK!!! The material simply comes off onto my fingers!! I don't care if this is BPA and PFOA free. The fact that we can be digesting the black "spray" on the inside of this surface after boiling water for 20mins - that's absolutely concerning. I took a picture of this black "stuff" on my finger after briefly touching the inside of the pot. I'm sure if I rubbed it more I could get a lot more black dust off. I didn't take a picture of the little black chips I picked off with my fingernail, but it was trivially easy to do so. Folks, I don't know about you but this seems like an extremely unhealthy hotpot. I'd advise going elsewhere. Also, for any hotpot you purchase (especially imported from china or wherever else), please do your due diligence and check if it has issues like this.

Der Topf wird schnell heiß und hält die Temperatur konstant, sodass Brühe und Zutaten nicht ewig brauchen. Mit 6 Litern ist genug Volumen da, auch wenn mehrere Leute mitessen – ideal für Freunde oder Familie. Das doppelseitige Design ist super praktisch: Man kann z.B. eine scharfe Brühe auf der einen Seite und eine milde auf der anderen machen, ohne zwei Töpfe zu brauchen. Gerade wenn Geschmäcker unterschiedlich sind, ist das ein Gamechanger. Der Deckel hilft außerdem, dass alles schneller kocht und weniger Wärme verloren geht. Die Bedienung ist unkompliziert, die Wärmeleistung reicht für Gemüse, Fleisch, Dumplings, Nudeln usw. locker aus. Nach dem Essen lässt er sich gut reinigen – wichtig ist nur, das Gerät abkühlen zu lassen und den elektrischen Teil nicht zu fluten (wie bei allen Elektro-Töpfen). Pluspunkte: • Wird schnell heiß (1200W) und hält Temperatur stabil • Großes Fassungsvermögen (6L) – top für mehrere Personen • Doppelseitig: zwei Brühen gleichzeitig (scharf/mild) • Deckel dabei, spart Zeit und Energie • Einfache Handhabung, gute Alltagstauglichkeit Kleiner Hinweis: Bei sehr stärkehaltigen Sachen (z.B. dicke Saucen) gelegentlich umrühren, damit nichts ansetzt – bei Brühe/Hotpot normal kein Problem. Fazit: Für Hotpot, Fondue und „alles-in-einen-Topf“-Abende wirklich empfehlenswert. Preis/Leistung stimmt und das doppelseitige Konzept macht richtig Spaß.

As long as you follow the cleaning instructions is works perfectly fine (wait for it to cool down before cleaning)! I have used this almost weekly without issues. It heats up quickly and the nonstick layer works flawlessly. It is light and the handles are not the best quality but to be fair it is cheap.

The temperature controller almost doesn't exist. Basically it goes in two mode :on or off. It is just Ok to use with this price.
