I have two cats, both short hair, Arabian Maus. One of them knocked over a candle and wax got caught in his fur. Instead having to rush him to the vet and pay way more to get him groomed and wax free, I used this trimmer and it did everything I needed it to. I’m very happy with the results. I could even shave his whole body with ease if need be. I’m just glad to know I have a tool that can help in accidents like these. Other pros: it’s chargeable instead of batteries, small enough to store or carry anywhere, does not create a sound that startles my cats, and is waterproof and easy to clean.

These clippers are great. Smaller than I expected but light weight, quiet as can be, different size covers for preferred hair length and cut beautifully. Simple without all the parts and extras that most come with. Love them.

Tickles, is our lovably chubby long-haired kitty. Grooming her fluffy coat has always been a bit of a challenge, especially with mats that seem to appear out of nowhere. With professional grooming sessions costing a crazy $150 each time, we needed a more affordable option. We've tried several clippers, often equipped with a plethora of speed and setting options, hoping to find one that could manage Tickles' mane. Then we stumbled upon this no-frills gem. This one keeps things straightforward with just an on/off switch. Surprisingly, it effortlessly cuts through Tickles' mats, making grooming sessions quick and stress-free. What's more, its pretty quiet which keeps Tickles calm. I was floored! No more wrestling with complicated settings or breaking the bank on grooming appointments. This clipper proves that sometimes simplicity is all you need to achieve excellent results. If you're looking for a reliable tool to keep your fluffy companion looking sleek without the hassle, look no further. Tickles approves, and so do we! 🐾

This worked really well for a few times, then, after sitting for a while, the blade was completely dull. However, this may be due to failure on my part to clean and oil the blade. I just put the unit away after using it. Beware! we made the mistake of shaving our poor dog the first time, without any combs, and she was in excruciating distress for at least a week until the hair started growing back. At first, it cut so well that we went overboard, as she had a massive flea infestation and we thought shaving her would give her some relief, robbing them of fur to hide in. She scratched herself til it bled, so we had to improvise a shirt, but that was hard to keep on her. I think we'll but another one and see if oiling the blade keeps it sharp.

I will preface this review by saying that I've been working with dogs and in the veterinary field for over 50 years. I currently have 4 small breed dogs but have raised and worked with large breed dogs in the past. This clipper set comes with the clipper, instructions, two clipper guards that are double sided, a small cleaning brush, and a power cord. The power cord is proprietary and not a USB-C so if you lose it, you will have no way to charge this device. Most of these small appliances are coming with USB-C cords now so I'm not sure why this one chose a special power cord. This did not come with any clipper oil so before any use you will need to get some clipper oil / coolant to apply to the blade. Clippers should not be run without oil and most of these are sent with a tiny bottle of oil to get you started. The blade will generate a lot of heat and friction quickly so be careful once you start using it if you have no oil. This clipper guards are an odd double sided design that I didn't feel worked well so I ended up not using them. The clipper itself worked fine on its own. It is moderately loud and not super quiet as advertised, but my dogs are used to a professional clipper and didn't mind it. The size of the clipper makes it easy to handle, especially with it being cordless. This is a nice little clipper for doing trims, cutting off small mats, and cleaning up areas on your pet between professional grooming. I'm not sure it would do a very heavy coated dog at all, but it would work well as a clean up trimmer for a small dog in between appointments.

Perfect! Our chub cat got Matt's because he can't reach and knowing the price of taking him to a groomer or vet was out of our price range at the time, we thought we would try these. . They are AMAZING. 100% recommend. Get your treats ready and there were 2 of us. One shaving, one holding and consoling
