Ordered this specifically in orange, as a substitute for a baseball cap, to be used for bowhunting. Got 100% what I wanted. Product fits my fat head (6'3 male) snug, but comfortable and secure. It is definitely orange enough to be considered blaze colored, and will pass muster with The Man I have no doubt. Material is durable enough for the woods, but also not oppressively heat/sweat trapping. It's not a super long brim, so it doesn't provide much shade, but this is good for my uses, since I am mostly shaded by tree canopy, and I roll the front up a little anyway to provide clearance for my bowstring. Your uses/needs may vary, but I can tell you this is a quality bucket hat, for a fair price!

First, it's a BUCKET hat. I wanted a floppy, only slightly-structured hat. This is it. I don't know if it varies with sizes or hat to hat, but I got the small/medium after measuring my head and comparing to chart and it fits loosely, but that's what I wanted. Yes, it comes down pretty far on forehead, around my eyebrows, but again, what I wanted. I got to help shade my face which is the color of a Qtip when I take my dog out. I can still see and the back helps protect my neck too. It DOES come in really indiscriminate packaging. Like a generic plastic bag. I didn't want to wash it in case it shrank, so used something not really designed for fabric, but I use it anyway, CleanSmart. I use the one to disinfect kid's toys. It disinfects without lightening the fabric so use for stuff like this, things I can't bleach or wash in hot. Sprayed it pretty liberally and let it dry. Makes me feel better as it going on my head and one never knows what can be in or on an item of clothing. Will update if anything changes, but so far, happy. BOTTOMLINE: IF you're looking for a STRUCTURED type of bucket hat, this isn't it. If you want the loose, broken in type, THIS could be your hat.

I'll start off with saying that "I HAVE A BIG HEAD". I wear a size 7 3/4 to 8 hat, measuring about 24 1/2" around. I buy a lot of hats marked "XL" and sometimes they fit, sometimes they don't. This one fits. The offered patterns are (at this point) a broad enough selection that you can easily find one you like - from plain to mildly wild. Not many can pull off the look of the bucket hat - about the best looking bucket hat wearer was Gilligan on that island with those other castaways... But this one is comfortable, not too tight, not too loose, like Goldilocks and the baby bear's chair and bed, it's just right. At least for me. For others it may be too big or too small (depending on size). It's all cotton so it will roll up and pack up small - but of course, that means it can be wrinkled. So be aware that it will not be a smooth perfect look - it will always have a laid-back, relaxed rumpled kind of look unless you press it.

The hat is very high quality. It fits well and comfortably . It's color is accurate, and it's lightweight on my head.

I find myself just on the cusp, at 58cms, of S/M and M/L. I ordered M/L and it's very comfortable, not too large, and very pleased. This hat isn't cheap-cheap, and I think it offers good value; it's well made, and although not lined has a nice wide band inside to sit on your head comfortably. Attention has been paid to detail. The dark blue (the standard colour?) is a nice French blue, and if it fades hopefully it will do so nicely! Would recommend!
