The retraction mechanism is solid (you actually need to pull down with a bit of force to get it to retract, which I like. I saw some reviews mention wrinkles, so we were very careful to order mounts from the same company that allow you to make fine adjustments to level the screen after installing. Having it perfectly level may be the reason we have no wrinkles. This one went into a spiritual retreat center's community room. I like it so much I'm thinking of getting a smaller one for home. Review: Product arrived very promptly and installed easily. The screen stays flat despite being a "rollup" (although I leave it down all the time). The screen is bright, consistent edge to edge, without dropoff when viewed from an angle. I'm using it with an HD projector that fills the whole wall of our media room with picture. Well worth the money.

This screen looks fantastic, and is very flat. The retraction mechanism is solid (you actually need to pull down with a bit of force to get it to retract, which I like. Great quality, easy to hang and makes the movies look better than a movie theatre.

I didn't experience any problem with this screen in over a year of constant usage, including daily up and down. It just does its job perfectly!
