Decent option
The media could not be loaded. Received and (self-)installed (on a 2020 expedition xlt/fx4 w/a sync3 stereo - so it has 360-deg cameras) today (7/6/25).So far, the device/screen/radio seems to be a decent option for those looking for a full screen in the expy....1)install was relatively straight forward (there is a video of someone installing what appears to be this exact unit, except sold by a different seller, on the other listing that I found helpful). I've self-installed one other stereo in the past, so I'm by no means an expert, but, I am not a complete novice. If you are a reasonably confident diy-oriented person, you should be able to figure it out. That said, the printed directions which came with the unit are generally vague, but like mentioned above, I found the video on another listing somewhat helpful, and having watched the video, I generally understood what the directions were asking for. The printed directions for this unit contain screenshots from the video I am mentioning... definitely find it. Install was completed in about an hour, mostly plug and play. Though, I am disappointed, because it seems like the head unit/screen should have come with trim/panel retainer clips to help hold the base of the unit against the dash, and my package did not contain any. So, the base of my unit is not completely locked/fixed into place. I will be purchasing panel clips tomorrow, and will see if that remedies the issue. Retainer clips have resolved this issue, review updated2) functionality seems to be decent and responsive, though somewhat slow to connect via wireless android auto. Note, that this screen/head unit is really just a replacement for the screen already in your vehicle, amd is essentially a stand-alone android tablet (with its own microphone, gps and (2)4g-lte antennas, speaker, rca jacks, 4g-lte sim slot, usb connections, etc, etc). You will remove the ford sync module from your existing screen/radio, and attach it to this one. If you select the "console" app from the devices app screen, it will show you the screen that was formerly displayed on your old screen (same touch buttons, layout, and all). This, I imagine, is what allows all of the factory installed 'options' (such as steering wheel controls, on-screen ac controls, factory am/fm radio, camera integrations, back-up camera guidance lines and alerts, etc) to function properly and be passed through to the 'tablet screen'. That said, you will actually have two android auto conmections/options. The first will be the factory sync3 connection (via usb), and the second will be a bluetooth/wi-fi or USB connection to this new screen/tablet/'head-unit". That has seemed a little finicky to originally figure out, but ultimately do-able. If you try to use the 'factory' connection, you will you will habe to access it via the 'console' app of the new headunit, and will end up with a 'cloned' view of your factory screen. Once you figure out the connection options, and the intricacies of this being a stand alone android device, that has 2 separate android auto connection options, and the odd way in which some apps are named on the tablets operating system, the functionality seems fine (in albeit, only about 40-minutes of 'playing'/acclimating/testing time). All factory functions seem to work just fine. Including, steerimg wheel controls, the 360degree cameras that my truck is equipped with, as well as, the back-up guidance and sensors, with an added mapping of where the sensors are detecting objects and their proximity.3)aesethetics, the screen looks 'factory, and except for the lack of the retainer clips to hold the base of the unit in-place, fitment is excellentThough, all of the additional cables installed with this head unit make for a tight fit behind the unit. I left pretty much all of my cables bundled and tucked behind the head unit. All in all, I am satisfied so far, and will update this review once I have had more time and try a few things out.

Don’t do it!
Don’t believe the other reviews - this looks nice in the Chinese vendor’s photoshopped pictures, but destroys most of the functionality of your console. It’s difficult to install, doesn’t interface with your truck or phone easily, etc etc. Tried it for a week and wife and I hate it. I tried to tell her there’d be a learning curve, but…just no. Don’t do it. You get what you pay for, which in this case, is second-rate software and probably stolen American IP to make a cool touch screen. We’ll be returning this and shelling out for an actual Sync4 from the dealership.

Terrible!!! Doesn't work. Spend hundreds getting it installed. Can’t get any help from customer service. So upset. Would give zero stars if possible.
