I bought this shovel because it was telescopic and would fit in my back pack. The first time I used it , I kind of knew it wasn't going to work out . It appears to be made from quality materials. I like the folding head., stainless steel. Now the cons : It is difficult to loosen and tighten the screw for the head as well as the telescoping handle. It collapses when it is fully extended while trying to use it. The screw threads are too fine . It seems loose and flimsy while trying to dig. Also handle twists and doesn't stay aligned during use. I was afraid to try to pry out small rocks and debris while digging for my intended targets. I don't think they did any real testing before marketing this If they did , it wasn't from an avid unbiased detectorist. It was priced better on Amazon than anywhere else. It should go back to the drawing board for some much needed tweaks .
