Easy replacement
Was a much more economic option to replace the OEM. Fit perfectly. Time will tell if it will last. So about 1000 miles in and no issues.

Quite easy to install, came with all gaskets .
The PCV valve was quite nicely made, looked like OEM but aftermarket product. Came with all the gaskets and was a perfect fit for my VW Tiguan, Wolfburg edition. Due to continuous check engine light, low pressure warnings, while there was no such issue with low oil levels, I ended up trying to open the cap for the PCV valve. Without the correct parts, this cap is never easy to open. But I ended up damaging the tabs for the cover. So I purchased this PCV valve. The replacement was quite easy, since VW made this replacement very simple. Remove of wire harness for the spark plugs was very simple, it was only necessary to remove two ignition coils to allow the valve to be removed. The hose was also quite simple, and since the PCV valve did not come with new hoses (which normally do), I was able to reuse the existing as it was not worn out. The part in in the vehicle and fully functional. And by the way, the PCV valve replacement was a hunch and never the problem maker. The check engine light continued intermittently until I was able to troubleshoot and found out the real culprit being the hood latch release mechanism that has an on/off switch, similar to the ones on the doors of microwave ovens. If the switch malfunctions, the vehicle thinks the hood is not closed and throws a false low oil level signal, to persuade the driver to open the hood to check the oil but in turn also close the hood properly. I could not have imagined such a scenario and the anguish the VW has given me. Anyway, the PCV valve was a good replacement and is functioning fine.
