Great station just a bit smaller than I thought
Great lube station. It is just a bit smaller than I think a good lube station should be. When you have all the switches and parts in it it is a bit cramped but it works.

Gets the job done at a reasonable price
I've probably hand lubed more than 1,000 switches for my mkb collection but this is my first lube station. I've mainly used the shipping trays that switches come in conjunction with bag lubing springs and stems. This lube station is made of acrylic and has 4 leg posts. It holds a total 40 MX style switches. I find lubing 30-40 switches is my max before needing a break so this is a good amount to hold at one time. The bottom housing goes in side ways (leaf spring either to the left or right) so you have direct line of sight to the rails to be lubed. The top and bottom pieces lay on top of one another to create a floor for the brush, stem, spring, top housing tray. It is held together by 4 leg posts. I would have liked to see rubber feet at the bottom of the legs to keep the tray from sliding around and also to protect the work surface.****Be sure to place a mat of some kind underneath to protect your desk from these feet. ****All components sit snug enough in their designated spots aside from the springs. The springs kind of flop around but that's just the nature of springs. I normally bag lube my springs anyway, so this wasn't a big deal. The bottom housing sits nice and secure. The vertical distance between the stems are too close for my preference making it awkward to get at the stem legs. For the stem rails, the distance is just close enough so I could lube 2 switches at the same time.Lastly, you won't be able to snap the switch housings back together with the bottom housing still in place. First the tolerances are too tight to allow the top housing clips to fit. Second, as mentioned before, the acrylic flexes in the middle. Applying too much pressure will crack this for sure.Overall, if you're in the market for a lube station you can't go too wrong with this. It gets the job done at a very reasonable price.

A decent lube station for the price
I've been into custom keyboards for a little over a year now and already have a Glorious branded lube station at a little more than double the cost of this product. This lube station is a simple, no frills, option that just does the job it needs to do. You will need to remove the protective plastic from the acrylic and assembly the stand offs that hold the two pieces of acrylic together, but that is fairly simple. The cut outs for the bottom housing of the switch is actually cut really well and the bottom housing snaps into place and friction fits really well. And I like that the hole cut outs for the springs also can be used for the switch stems if you prefer. This product pales in comparison to my other lube station, but for the price, it's really a pretty nice value!
