wildroar Anti Leech Socks-Deep Olive-Water Repellent

Used it in Ponmudi ( Near Trivandrum) trekking. It definitely protects your leg from leeches but leeches climbover as its not coated with leech repellent. Hence one need to check if leeches have climbed over. Dont enter place of stay after trekking wearing leech socks as many leeches will still be hidden between the pant and leech socks which needs to be removed. I removed nearly 10-15 leeches of various sizes. Others who did not wear leech socks had to work harder removing them frequently during treckking which i did not have to.

Visually the material used seems to be of good quality, waterproof fabric. I have not used it yet, I received this product late as the first time order did not reach me, probably due to the delivery agent fault.

We went on a trek deep into a dense forest - 52 of us in total. Everyone came back with at least 5-6 leech bites… except me! I was the only one who returned completely bite-free, and it’s all thanks to these amazing leech socks. I travel often to areas known for heavy leech activity, and this has easily been one of my best purchases on Amazon. The material is strong, the fit is good, and it really does what it’s supposed to. Just a small tip: sometimes the socks might loosen during the trek, but you can simply tie the elastic rope tight to keep them in place - once secured, not a single leech could get in. Trust me, this product saved me from a lot of trouble. Highly recommended if you’re trekking in leech - infested regions. Leech army came in mass, but not one got through!
